Hey everybody! I was glad to see lots more posts this morning. I wondered where everyone was earlier in the day! Just finished my O! and my 2-mile walk with DD. We only have two more mornings to walk together. I can't believe it's already time to go back to school.
Yesterday was a productive day for me...got lots done. I have a meeting and several other things on my agenda today. Hopefully it will be just as productive. Jeans..I'm glad you had so much fun with your grandkids. Hope all goes well for your DIL at her appt. today. Let us know! 2B, your mother and her friends sound like a fun bunch! You've inspired me to go visit my 93 yr old aunt today. Btw...I'm glad everything's okay with your Mom. The lunch out with DH sounded fun, Susanna. Now you've got my mouth set for Subway. That's one place I never feel guilty when I eat out. I always get the veggie. Now, DQ....I try to stay away from there! We got Blizzards all last summer and that was one of the reasons I gained back so much weight, despite my faithful O!ing!!! I'm sure once didn't hurt you, though. I'm glad y'all had such a wonderful time at your dinner Saturday, Sheila! I'm sure you're going to be sorry to see your sister leave. I see mine about once a year (and she's only 5 hours away by car), but I still hate to say goodbye. Alysia, congrats on doing so well with your eating and your O!. I always thought being a flight attendant would be fun, too. Do you get to fly an exciting route? Brigitte...you're getting there. I bet the more reps you add, the easier it'll get. Well... the dogs want out, so I'd better go. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday! |

Hi everyone,
Well...I've been Oing faithfully for three weeks now. I didn't loose an ounce until this week (2 lbs), but last week I added walking along with the Oing. I'm new to this (I've only posted once before) and I'd really like to hear from anyone who has lost weight with oxycise only. Anyone? How much? I guess the first two weeks sort of deflated my enthusiasm and made me think I'd have to "add" something (walking) to make any progress. I AM eating right, and I've eliminated all my old bad habits (like soft drinks...I can't stand the diet ones). I'm drinking plenty of water too. Guess I just need a pep talk! <G> I seem to recall seeing that someone here is from Palm Bay. Is that Palm Bay, FL? I live in Cocoa. Just wanted to say HI! Michelle |

Hi
I got in L 1 today & am trying to get back into the routine after being at camp for 2 weeks!! I have lost 30 lbs with only Oxycise. The correct breathing is the key & do it with gusto. Have a good day all! Hi Michelle! Glad to have you posting here in the D2L thread with us!
I have had great luck with Oxycise! as my only exercise. I do have to control my eating to see results, but that's for the best anyway. I would have to get out my records to see exactly how much, but I know I lost more than 30 pounds earlier this year just using O!. I only started adding the walk videos this summer as a way to do something with my DD. Give it time! You might have had that loss without adding the walking. Hope to see you here on a regular basis. Welcome back Shelby!!! I missed you! Did you have fun or was it all work and no play? |

I'm still super busy with the house so haven't had time to catch up with the posts. I'm just here to spread some gloom.
I'm very discouraged right now. I haven't O'ed since Friday again. My motivation level is so up and down. I've gained 7 pounds with this pregnancy so far. That's way too much to have gained this early on, especially for me. I've never gained more than 10-15 pounds total with any of my pregnancies, because I'm already overweight. So to have gained this much so soon is not making me happy. I know I just need to keep at the Oing, but I'm having a very difficult time not sinking into a "what's the point" attitude. So... I am going to O today. I'll post again after I do. EmBe "Fall seven times, get up eight." - Japanese Proverb |

Hi Kelly, Shelby, Michelle, & EmBe, and any to follow:
Did L1 this morning before work. I just got back in the groove after a month off or just being lazy or being too hot here in Colorado. Don't have a really good excuse. Kelly, yes it will be sad to say goodbye to my sister, because she doesn't get over here but every two years or more. We are having a goodbye supper out at the Trail's End restaurant this evening. Embe, don't be discouraged, just keep breathing. Keep fighting the "what's the point attitude". You can do it. I've been discouraged myself, but realize that isn't doing me any good, so I've snapped out of that for now. Better get busy, lots of work today. Have a wonderful day everyone, and keep on smiling and KOB. Sheila |

Hi Kelly, Shelby and Samie,
(I have a dear friend in LA named Sami I told my neighbor about Oxycize and she read the book. We both have about the same amt. to loose (around 80+ lbs) although I'm 5'9" and she's 5'4"! She thinks this is "too good to be true." Maybe that put some doubt into my head. <G> We both want it to be true (that you can loose with "O" only and not do other forms of grueling exercise), but I guess we need more convincing! Both of us are willing to develop good eating habits, but not "diet" in the traditional sense. Dieting is how we both got fat in the first place. So...I guess what I'm saying is that talking to REAL people, here and now, will add back that touch of motivation that I lost the first couple of weeks. I may keep walking anyway (except this week as it's TOO hot LOL) but it will be for enjoyment (and my dogs love it). One other question, if you all don't mind. Is it important to move up to L2 & L3 as you do O for a while? Or is religiously doing L1 enough? Michelle |

Hi Michelle, Sheila, EmBe, Kelly, Shelby, and anyone else to follow,
Michelle, Welcome you will find lots of wonderful support in this group. I myself am still a newbie around here as this is just the beginning of my 5th week of oxycise. I haven't lost any weight yet, but I have lost inches already. I have found that just knowing that there are real people out there who have had success with Oxycise has kept me going even though I have felt discouraged (a week ago) about the slow progress. I keep telling myself that if it works for the other ladies here then it will work for me. I'm sure my weight hasn't dropped though because I have been trying to oxycise exclusively rather than doing alongside of moderating my eating. I plan to write down my eating this week and take a serious look at it to see what I can change without dieting. Have I mentioned recently that I love to oxycise? It is the first exercise program that I have ever been faithful to for 5 weeks straight! I have even found that I can be motivated to oxycise even when I am exhausted and only want to go to bed! Well, my baby is crying so I'm off of here for now. Leah |

Hi! I've enjoyed reading all the posts yesterday and today, and sharing a bit of your lives! Thanks so much, ladies!!!
Kelly, I really didn't blow the calories real bad, since I just had a small krunch cone. I have found that I can get away with eating one of them or a dilly bar occasionally, without really messing up. Michelle, I lost 68 pounds in one year with only Oxycise for a workout. I also push a lawn mower around, and take walks with my kids...but they're not exactly "power walks". Really, I give the credit to Oxycise, because I did those other things anyway, although it was getting pretty hard to walk very far! I only have Jill's book, which is level 1, so, yes, just doing level 1 religiously is enough. It's just that most people like variety. Good for you for eating right! You've already started having results...and it's going to get better!!! Shelby, welcome back! I missed you, too! Jeans & 2B, are you here today? EmBe, from a mom who always gained 26-32 pounds...I can say WOW!!! I think you're doing okay. Remember that every pregnancy is different, and maybe there's a very good reason for you to gain more this time. Besides, you have the KEY....OXYCISE....to taking it off after the baby comes!! Maybe you need to increase your fruits and veggies...do you eat plenty of them? I saw on a website recently, that if you eat 2 fruits or 2 vegetables at every meal, you'll have better luck losing weight. I realize you're not trying to lose right now, but I think that's a healthy goal while you are pregnant. Anyway, here's a hug from a mama who understands...and I'll keep checking to see your post saying that you DID O today! Sheila, I'm glad your dinner went well. I'm really glad that you're back on track with O! I'm sure you're thankful for the new special memories that you have made with your sister and her family! Leah, I'm really glad that you love Oxycise! It's so much easier to do something if you enjoy it!!! Sometimes I don't feel like I love it much...but I love what it's done for me, so I keep on!!! Brigitte, I meant to tell you yesterday that I'm proud of you for having good results already!! I'm so glad!!! Alysia, it's great that you can feel a difference with Oxycise! What part of the country did you grow up in? Now, I've only done 5 reps so far today, but I'm not finished!!! |

Hi Everyone
I was exhausted last night and the only thing I wanted to do was fall into bed BUT I decided to do my O! and was so happy I did, it just makes me feel better. To those of you out there who are disheartened, stick with it. I am doing L1, with a walk, ride etc a few times a week(if I feel up to it). Like all diets and excercise everyone is different and get different results within different time frames. I believe if you keep with it, it will happen. Everyone on this board is proof of it! Kelly S, I do mostly international routes, mostly from Australia to Asia (Japan, Hong Kong etc)Which is fun but, I do miss my family...I am married with 2 children. Susanna, I grew up in the Northern Territory, just outside of Darwin and now I live in Queensland. Got lots to do today so better get to it. bye |

Good Evening All!!
Wow! Lots of post yesterday & today. So nice to get on here & "See" all of you! I did B&T1 yesterday & L2 today. I almost didn't do todays. My right leg & hip are acting up. But then I kept thinking about what Kelly says when she is having trouble. That I just went ahead & did my "O" hoping the streches would help. I can't say they did, but I'm glad I did it anyway. Jeans...glad you were able to spend time with the grandkids. Have you heard anything from your DIL yet? Hope everything goes ok with her & baby. 2B...Glad your mom was ok. Aren't elderly people just precious!! I use to work in a nursing home as a CNA. Michelle...Welcome! I only do "O". I have lost a little over 20lbs. & LOTS!! of inches. It can be done! Shelby...Weclome back!! Missed ya. How many did you cook for? "See" you all tomorrow, Ellen |
