Good morning everyone. Happy Monday.

L1 for me today.

Jerry is doing a little bit better every day. The pain is improving, but it's too early to know if the clot is shrinking. Baxter is starting to feel more comfortable with us. His "brothers" are mostly indifferent to him now, but at least they aren't growling. I know one step at a time we will make it. We are having him neutered tomorrow. I'm really struggling with that because I know it will be inflicting pain on him, but I also know it is the best for his health.

Sounds like everyone had a wonderful holiday.

Lin, I'm glad you were so strong for Lenny. I hope the rest of his birthday was OK and he wasn't feeling sick. How are the treatments going?

Melinda, I'm excited about the cleanse. I'm planning to start it on Monday although I'll try and increase my fruit and vegetable consumption this week.

Have a wonderfully blessed day!

Shari

Shari - treatment cycle #3 this week on Wednesday. All in all he has about 1 good week out of the month without feeling too too sick or having a lot of bone pain. To be honest the worst part of his treatment is the Neulasta which inflicts a lot of bone pain on him especially after he is done taking his five days of prednisone which helps with the inflammation. He just keeps saying I hope all this is worth it and it works. He also ran into a member at church yesterday who told him she had the same thing 13 years ago, so I think that tells me hey look at her, she is okay now and he sees that it can ALL BE WORTH IT. yea, I just thank God I was not having one of those emotional times when everything I think of or do I break into a flood of tears. That would not have been good having to shave his head. He would have felt ten times worse then. I got one sick feeling as all the hair was dropping onto the towel and the floor and then I just thought you gotta do it and be strong for him Linda and let him see that you are there and strong to help him.

Thanks for all your support.

Have a great day ladies. I promise I will try to get back on the O wagon ASAP.

Lin

Hang in there, Lin. This has gotta be so hard for you!

I did do L1 today after several weeks of not doing it. It felt good.

May the Lord bless each of you this day!

I began my day with a good O! workout - and even got a 30 minute walk in. The weather turned cold last night - but I walked anyway. The Lord and I have such a nice time together on our walk (praying, singing, smiling, loving).

I've been eating lots of fruit in the morning and vegetables and fruit throughout the day. My sister-in-law and I made rice bread on Saturday (may be allergic to gluton). It is really good - but did take a lot of ingredients. It's especially good toasted with mashed avocado spread on top! We tried humus as a dip with veggies on Saturday and, surprisedly, most everyone liked it (even my finicky 81 yr. old dad). You just never know. Eek

Good morning all,

Did L2 this morning before work. Eating has been fair over the weekend and water was good yesterday, and I hope to do well today.

Shari, glad Jerry is feeling better and that your new dog is getting used to you all.

Lin, sorry Lenny lost his hair. Glad you were strong for him. We will keep you both in our prayers.

Melinda, those times with the Lord are great, aren't they?

Have a wonderful, blessed day. KOB and smiling.

Hey! Got my O! done this afternoon. Probably would have done it with more gusto if I'd done it earlier, but.... at least I O!ed.

I'm back on track with my water and food today.

Good to read all the posts! I enjoy sharing in your lives and will remember those who have special needs in my prayers.

Hope everyone has a good week!

I got in all 16 glasses of water! I think I'll start posting later in the day so I can be accountable about my water. Food has been great so far. I still have 5 points left for supper.

Unfortunately, I strained my back lifting four bags of water softener salt. Oh well, part of life. Hopefully it will be better tomorrow.

Lin, how is your virus? I remember you saying you had to take some medicine. Hope you are feeling well again.
