Hi everyone!
Hope things are going better for you all today with everyone that is sick etc! We will go back to the prefecture in May for the renewal. We still don't know what we will get. But one good thing happened! Dan had prayed that the person looking at our papers wouldn't just flip thru but that they'd look them all over carefully. We have lots of info in our file that supports our need for a 10 yr card. The lady I got was excruciatingly meticulous and when she came back to my spot she asked what mission we were with. I thought she was trying to fumble me up because alot of the gov't workers here are anti-christian. Turns out she is from a large church in Paris & was so happy to meet me!!! Isn't that cool? I did L1&2 today since it's Wed & the kids are off & watching some cartoons. Have a good day everyone! Shelby |

Good morning Shelby (glad for your great news!), and all to follow!
I am so glad it's already Wednesday. This has been an OK work week so far. Everyone's pretty busy with the budget and some other huge happenings, so they haven't had much time to get on my nerves. Well, I skipped my workout Monday, but walked 3 miles yesterday. This last week was rough for me exercise-wise. Not a lot of stars on my calendar. Oh well, back on track and moving forward. My goals for this afternoon are Level 3, Buns/Thighs 1, and another walk tape. I'll post again later! Tammy Visit me online @ http://www.vocaldreams.us |

Just got on the messageboard. I'm in my 2nd week of O! and still going strong. I ordered the L1 and L2 tapes, but living in Europe usually means waiting ages (at least in my eyes

Hi everyone! Great to see so many posts already...and good to have Brigitte posting here, too! I did my workout this morning.
It's raining steadily here today and supposed to continue into the evening. I'm sure sorry my kids have to travel so far on a bus in this kind of weather, but they're in God's hands. I just hope it's a fun day for them. That's great how things worked out with your application, Shelby. I'm glad Dan's prayers were answered. Tammy...I sure hope things turn around at work for you soon. I know it's been rough for you. Well....this is craft day at the church. Don't know how many of the ladies will venture out in this weather for it, but I'll head up there anyway. I need to run a few other errands, too. I'll try to check back later. Have a good day y'all! Good morning everyone. More snow for Michigan today. I haven't seen this much snow in years. I look out my office window and the snow is so high in the courtyard that it partially blocks my view! It's got to be nearly 5 feet deep!
Susanna, I hope you are feeling better soon. Shelby, it's so nice to hear about how the power of prayer is working in such a powerful way. Please keep us posted. Kelly, I have to give your kids credit for even wanting to go 5 hours on a bus for a two hour tour, a two hour tour. Is there a professor and a skipper on board? I am warming up the whip as I type. I finally decided that Dan can at least clean and do some cooking. I am going to make it miserable for him to stay at home. He did some work for my sister but, that work will be few and far between right now. It's all up to God now. I can only "motivate" for so long. We found out that Dan's 1st cousin died yesterday. She is only 25 years old and had been diagnosed with a bad heart. She waited 2 years for a heart and received 2 last week. Her body just shut down. I feel awful about it. She was a very bubbly person who had finally found her sole mate. I pray for her mother because she is not in good health either. I am a bit afraid that this will put her over the edge. My MIL has been with her the whole week so, if anyone can lend support, it's her. Blue Eyes, your Dad and family remain in my prayers. I did 30 minutes of major aerobic activity today as well as a commuter routine. I am really working to be as healthy as possible. I am trying to learn from all those with challenges regarding their health. It pushes me to try a bit harder to remain in good condition. I hope you all have a good hump day! Merritt |

Hello!
Did O! with weights and the 1-mile walk yesterday. Leslie Sansone is right...I'M SORE!!!! Gonna do O! and my 2-miler after I sign off. Blue Eyes...I'm on AOL, not Yahoo. Ummmm...that's about it, I guess. My prayers go out to all families in need right now, and I hope all who are feeling ill will get better real soon. See ya tomorrow... Donna |

Here's some more tips about Balance and Self Love
1. Exercise willingness over willpower (balance is achieved through a process of surrendering). 2. Every day, spend some time doing only one thing at a time-don't multi-task. (Just talk to your kids, rather than talking and folding clothes or talking while doing the dishes; or, just drive your car-don't eat or talk on your cell phone while doing it). 3. When you feel stressed, remember a time when you handled other stressful situations well and had positive outcomes-that will help you put the current situation into perspective. 4. Prioritize your tasks based on your personal values. Someone else might think a spotless house is a priority, but maybe spending an extra hour with your child is more important to you. 5. Be realistic in your expectations of yourself. It's better to do fewer things well than many things haphazardly. 6. Continually set boundaries for yourself so that you have time to do the things that are important to you. 7. Learn to be comfortable with a simpler life, with fewer "things to do." 8. Make a list of the things you believe make your life feelbalanced, and refer to this a few times a day. 9. Give yourself props to remind you of the life you want to achieve(for example, a yoga mat left out to remind you to practice yoga, abowl of fresh fruit to remind you to eat fresh fruit). 10. Nourish yourself from the inside out with positive thoughts, healthy nutrition and movement, and experience external balance from internal self-love. Laura |

Hi. I've been reading the posts on and off and getting the newsletter for 1 year now. I've ordered almost all the tapes but have never really done them. I guess I just really didn't believe they would work. So I've tried everything else, the gym, walking, walk/run, weights, and even bought several excercise tapes, but I keep coming back to oxycise. Although, I've only done it off and on in the past, I'm ready to do it this time. I always feel good when I do it, I don't know why I feel like I have to be running around and sweating for excercise to do any good. I know this post is for those doing tape 2, but I was wondering if I could report in to you until I get up to level 2. I've been doing the commuter tape twice a day this week, trying to concentrate on getting the breathing right. I hope everyone has a good day. Thanks, fatigued

So nice to meet you! Good for you, You've gotten started. By the way, this post area is for everyone on all levels. We may have confused you with the name D2L O! Pals. It doesn't mean level 2, it means "determined to lose". Some of us have only used level 1. I did for 6 months- I recently bought other level tapes. Keep it up! I love the commuter workout.

Hi fatigued! I'm glad you decided to post with us. Of course you're welcome here! This is for anyone who wants to post....not just those who do certain levels. You'll find folks posting who have only been O'ing for a couple of weeks as well as those who have done it for years.
Laura....the list you posted today had some really good points in it! I'm bad about "multi-tasking". Simplifying things really is better. Oh...and Merritt.... I'm sure my kids would tell you the buses were full of Gilligans with a Ginger or two thrown in (you know teenage girls!). It's been pouring all day. They made need boats instead of buses to get home! Kelly |

Hello My Fellow Oers
I have decided to get back on track and start doing O on a regular basis. I've been a Oer for years off and on and now I've decided to start again in earnest. I do my commuter tape daily but I really like the feel after I do one of the workout videos. I am also a big time Leslie Sansone fan and use her workouts religiously and use Jill's breathing while I walk. Once I start doing O again I notice a difference almost immediately in my face. And when I do it daily the results are amazing. I have no home computer because it has a virus so I will try to post as much as possible. This is a great place for support. Do any of you know if Jill is coming out with any new videos? I would love something new. Take care and keep breathing! Rose |

Thanks for all the good wishes. I think I feel a little better today. Still couldn't O last night, so I did it in the bathroom this morning, while it was all steamy. That helped.
Jennifer, did the pulsatilla help? I'm just curious! Welcome back, Rose. I hope you hang in here with us! I haven't heard anything about new videos, but Julie Gunderson might be the one to ask, (under Questions for Jill or Julie down at the bottom). Laura, I love simplicity. Merritt, I'm so sorry to hear about Dan's cousin. My dh has been without work a few times during our marriage. It's hard on guys! Hang in there...maybe a perfect job will come along and smack him in the nose. Tammy, I hope things improve for you! Don't let anybody suck the life out of you!!!!! We need you! Julie, are you still feeling okay? Bladder infections are so mean and nasty and not what you need when there's a baby adding pressure! Hello to everyone else! I must get some housework done. Hi everyone
I've been gone about a month and a half now and Kelly (thanks) got ahold of me. I know i have been slacking in the oxycise area. There are a few new names i see and i'll have to get to know. Will check back tomorrow. HAVE A BLESSED DAY!!
