Just checking in for the day. I did L1 w/weights today & got in another L1 last night.
I've lost 1 lb & 1 in in the waist this week. I was hoping for more of a loss but any loss is a good one. Have a good day! Shelby |

Good Morning Everyone!
I just finished L1--yes--just one round! Some of you gals make me feel like such a slacker! But I don't want to get burned out and stop! I am getting ready to go up to my Mom's house for an overnight--all by myself! Yes--I am having a slumber party--with my almost 75 year old mother! (she looks 60--and if I could get her to Oxycise--she'd look even younger!) I know we will have a ball. She lives in a very cool mountain town--called Estes Park. It's absolutely beautiful there--if any of you ever get to CO! I plan to do some breathing in the car--as it take me about 2 hours to get there. Susanna--thanks for the update on Melinka! Hi everyone. I got my Oxycise done, but probably not with as much gusto as I should have. Tomorrow is weigh and measure day for me and I don't even want to do it! I've been really horrible with my eating this week, I feel very bloated (despite all the water I drink), and I am cranky. Can you tell that I have PMS?!
Yeah, well.....I'll get over it. If I do have a gain, that's what I'll attribute it to. Congrats on your losses, Shelby. Keep it up! Hope y'all all have a great weekend! Kelly |

Hello everyone. I tried to take a day off work, mental health you know, but, I have been working from home all day. If I would have known I could do that, I would have been doing it a long time ago.
The thing is, I was sitting here working and my dh came in. He was suppose to be at work. He told me that his position was eliminated and he is done working. What a shock! He had been there 13 years. They did this company wide. The problem is that I will be losing my job in another month. What will we do? My answer is that God will take care of us somehow. Any prayers coming our way would be greatly appreciated. I will be doing a lot of Oxycise for the mere fact that it helps with stress. Dan feels pretty good right now because he really didn't like his job. I, on the otherhand, pay the bills! I haven't had a chance to workout today but, maybe I can get some in tonight. Congratulations to Shelby on your loss. You have been doing so well. Okay, I have to go and get a few things figured out. I shall be back! Merritt |

I haven't had a chance to read yesterdays posts but will do that later today. I enjoy all of you! Sometime w/in the next hour I will do level 3 with my 2lb. weights this time. Maybe the 5lb. was to much to start off with. (though I do have to say it didn't feel heavy at all) I'll let you know how it goes. Ok, it's 10:30 so I better start my day. Have a good one all! It looks nice here today, but the wind is cold. I was hoping to go for a walk.
I only did one workout last night, and was too tired to do more. Julie, I've lost all this weight mostly doing one O workout per day, 5 or 6 days a week. I can count on one hand the number of times I've done 2 workouts in a day. When I met my dh, he was living in Longmont & took me to Estes Park...way back in 1974! It IS very beautiful! I'm happy for you, Shelby. Today was measuring day for me...no change since last week. Sorry to hear the upsetting news, Merritt. Ellen, you're doing well! Aren't you a little bit curious about what the scale will tell you? Gotta go...we're rearranging furniture and unpacking some more boxes...the house is a royal mess!!! Susanna |

Guess I really should get in on the morning huh? I just haven't had a chance. Didn't even get the chance to get on yesterday and shame on me i didn't do my oxy!! I will tonight though. Just had a really bad day yesterday.
Congrats Shelby!! A pound may not seem like a lot, but it is. mom used to tell me if you feel like you haven't lost a lot of weight because the amount seems small, go hold something for about 10 minutes to an hour that weighs that amount and you'll realize how great you really did!! so go hold yourself a pound of flour or sugar for awhile and remember, you're not carrying that around anymore!!!!! then do it for five and ten pounds. potatoes would work great for those. Kelly-I had a bad week of eating too so don't feel bad. just pick up the next day and get backon track. I tried to findthat book and barnes and nobles today but they don't carry it. guess I have to order it offline. Merritt-you will definitely be in my prayers but please rememeber. EVERYTHING happens for a reason. When one door closes another will always open. Love and faith can get you through anything. I'm having a hard time too. Going through divorce-with two children. But I know it's for the best and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just trust God to get me through it. Hope everything works out quickly for you though. TGIF thought it would never get here. I started the L1 on the 1st which was a thursday, so my week is kind of off kilter. This is starting my 4th week. I must say i am impressed as i have lost 1 more lb. Can't say much for inches tho, think i will measure once a month at the beginning and end. I do weigh myself each morning before i do L1. I do L1 2 times a day, but i have had trouble sleeping, like i have tooo much energy
Have a good week end, we are going to see a train show for model railroading, should be interesting. |

I'm just getting to do my O now at 8 Oh well better late than never. Thanks Merrit I was begining to think I was the only one that O doesn't help with that. I would love to find something else to do. I used to love walking but we now live 10 miles out of town and the only place to walk is a highway that every one goes at least 60 on. I will try to find some thing alse I can do. Have you looked into the Leslie Sansone walk videos? I know she has a website. I have her 1, 2 and 3 mile walk videos. I also have tapes for abs. I really enjoy them and it just adds variety to my different workouts. I also know that you can get them at just about any store like WalMart. It really is a great workout and not so challenging that you can't follow along. It is really good coupled with Oxycise.
