Ugh, like so many others, I've had the O! tapes for way longer than I'd like to admit, but was never able to get the motivation to maintain a routine. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I started, thinking, THIS is it! . .and 3 days later, it was like. . .Oxycise. . .what . .? So this time, I waited things out a little before I ventured back to posting. I have now been at Oxycise for 17 days, with only 3 days off. I have lost a few pounds, but since I normally fluctuate naturally within about 10 pounds, I'm going to wait for something a little more substantial. Inch loss has been slow, but there. However, just yesterday I really started FEELING good . . .I was laying in bed and my stomach just FELT flatter, I just feel more toned overall. I never really got to this point before of actually feeling the improvements, so hopefully, this is the carrot that will make me stick with it!
and on a random note, something else I just started to do that is really fun for a change of pace - I bought a bellydancing DVD. I depend on Oxycise for the real toning and weight loss, but the bellydancing is a really fun (but challenging) workout too!

Hi Nicole - and welcome back to Oxycise! Congratulations on 17 days and your inch and weight loss - you are doing awesome! I had fallen off the wagon and am back on now also - it is amazing how good O! makes us look and feel when we do it regularly.

Hi Nicole! Welcome back from me, too...and welcome to the message board. A couple of other folks on here also use bellydancing in addition to their O!. It sounds like it would be fun.
Hi Kelly, Good for you girl, get it done-that's the goal. But, then again i've done what you've done too. I recently (re)started as well, and hope to stick with it this time. I always seem to drift away after the vacation is over ...but i think the trick this time is that i just started with the tapes i like the best- like the upper body tape. Instead of going through one and two then three- i just do the ones i really love the most. The breath was like riding a bike- i just got right back into it! Do you do this too? Anyone else think that helps stick to it? Lets try to make it happen! Sue K., Virginia
Welcome to the board, Sue K.! I'm glad the breathing came right back to you. I think you have a great idea there, using the tapes you enjoy most. I don't have any way to watch videos, so I just use Jill's book. For variety, I use some positions that I've found in magazines and on other websites, with the Oxybreath, and just listen to some of my favorite tunes while I work out. It's worked really well for me! Feel free to join us on the daily thread for lots of support and encouragement!

Hi Susanna, Thank you for the welcome! I think the level 2 work out and abs work out are my favorites right now. Do you have any way to listen to the audio commuter tape or audio CD? Maybe it would be nice to hear Jills voice for a little variety? I'm glad the book works for you though! Best to you, Sue K., Virginia
