It's a New Morning - let's rejoice and be glad! Razz

I got up and did my O! routine and then walked 30 minutes. It was very humid and muggy but some cool air/rain is suppose to come into the Dallas metroplex today.

WOW! It was great seeing so many posts yesterday. We are all so unique and have so many great experiences to share. I am grateful to have a place to come for daily support and accountability. Thanks for your encouragement as I learn how to stay healthy.

God bless each of you~ Cool

Melinda

Good Morning Melinda and Everyone,

I'm a little late getting around this morning, but I also enjoyed reading everyone's posts yesterday. It really sounds like lots of great effort and focus on becoming as healthy and strong as we can be!

I'm waiting for a "Furbinator" to arrive in the mail. I ordered in from Amazon.com and it is supposed to take care of pet shedding. Our dog is really shedding badly now at this time of the year, so I'm hoping that this will do the trick!

We will be heading off to our church camp in June, and then hopefully will be able to take a trip into northern California, Oregon and Washington after that. It is nice to escape the desert heat in the summer. We have a 5th wheel and enjoy traveling.

Well, I'd better get busy. I got my Oxycise in yesterday while riding the recumbent bike. It always makes me feel better afterwards.

Best wishes to everyone,
Bev

Good Afternoon! No "O" yet today. But I have been out in the yard, mowing, weeding & transplanting some flowers.

Sheila...I work in the Deli at our local Jay-C grocey store. I'm just part time & my hours are kind of mixed up. Sometimes I go in at 8 or 10 in the morning & get off at 2. Then sometimes I go in at 2 or 3 in the afternoon & get home after the Deli closes at 7:00 p.m. We live just outside of town about 2 miles. So it is real convenient & it gives me a little running money.Wink

Have a Beautiful, Blessed, Healthy Day!

Hello O-buddies!!

Good to see some of you here this morning.

Melinda, you must be a blood type A. They can eat lots more fruit than other types, and still lose weight. Congratulations on those 13 pounds gone!!! I'm PROUD of YOU!!! Big Grin I have smoothies real often for breakfast, too. I usually combine 1/2 cup pineapple, 1/2 cup unflavored yogurt, and 1 cup berries for mine. I love 'em!!! My Naturopath told me to be sure and eat some protein with it though, like some almonds or almond butter, or add some protein powder. That way it doesn't just hit your bloodstream with all the natural sugars real fast. No other breakfast makes me feel so good!

Embe, are you feeling better? I hope so!!! I'm so glad you started posting again!!!

Ellen, you must have an awfully lot of hens and chicks! Do you have a picture of them on your website? I haven't peeked at it for awhile.

Kelly.....are you there???? I'm missing you!!!

I started to O last night, but my hip was hurting so much that I stopped. Today I'll do it before it gets so late. So, I'll be back later to see how everyone's doing. Wink

Susanna, thanks for the information about adding some protein to the fruit smoothie. I actually did that today with 1/4 c. of ground up almonds. It was DELICIOUS and I didn't get hungry until lunch time - AMAZING! Eek

Thanks!!

Happy Wednesday, Everyone!

I'm having dinner guests tonight so I pushed really hard to finish all my exercise and walking early today. I just finished O! & my weights/exercise routine. It was a beautiful day at the lake. We walked the 3.2 mile loop in "1-hr 1-min 19-secs". Smile We had lots of resistence with the hills and the strong winds! I really got a nice red sunburn & wind-burned face out of it,too. Red Face

Melinda, I read a health report recently that said a protein snack is better for suppressing appetite. I'm glad to see that worked for you.

I'm so thankful for all of you that post here! I have learned a lot and enjoy reading your stories! Thank you so much! Take care! Hope you have a good evening! Smile I'll check back later.

Good evening all,

Did L2 this morning before work and part of another stretching exercise. Eating and water was fair today. It was secretary's day so I had cake for my employees and I had some.

Ellen, thanks for the information, just curious about what kind of work you did. Part-time jobs do help with extra money though.

Yes, Kelly we are missing you. Hope you are doing fine.

Good to see you posting Susanna. We've missed you also.

Have a good evening all. KOB and smiling.
