Good morning. O breaths today. They are helping me deal with the back pain. It just seems to be getting worse and now I can barely walk around.

Princess, I love L2. I have tried the commuter CD and enjoy it also. I have the abs and upper body DVDs, but honestly I haven't tried them yet.

Susie, great job on doing O. Don't feel you are complaining. We're here to support you.

Have a great day everyone!

Shari

Good morning, Shari, and all to follow! Happy Friday!!

I just finished Level 3. O! is just the best way to start the day. Big Grin

I didn't check in last night (what else is new, LOL) Roll Eyes, but I squeezed in a yoga/tai chi video and will likely do the same tonight. Smile I have been checking in with Lin via IM and I am going to do my best not to burn out by doing more than Oxycise (thanks for the reminder, lady!). Honestly, as long as I get my O! in for the day, I'm thrilled; I know that O! is enough, but I do have a lot of other videos that I LOVE, and I love to move, so I'm going to add a little variety here and there. Thanks for listening!

Shari and Kelly, thanks for your comments on my recording of "Yesterday"! Glad you enjoyed it. I am actively cowriting music with a contact in Nashville and hope to release another CD before the end of the year. I'll keep you posted! Cool

Susie, welcome back!!

Have a happy day.

Good morning! I haven't done my O! yet (promise I will), but I just had to post when I logged in and saw Susie had been here.

I'm glad you're back, Susie, and hope you'll stay so we can encourage each other!!! You know I share a lot of your struggles (body shape, food weaknesses, etc.). I got complacent with my eating and gained back a little myself. I'm working on it and hope to eventually get about 10 to 15 pounds off (I'll settle for 5-10!). Amazing the difference 15 pounds can make in how clothes fit!! Anyway... one of the ways I handle salty, crunchy stuff is to only buy it in the little lunchbox size bags. I know it's more expensive that way, but that way if I feel I have to have some... I can limit myself to 150 calories or whatever. I buy the box of 50 bags of potato chips at SAMS for my DH. That way he's better about eating just one pack with his sandwich at lunch and I'm not tempted by a huge bag in the pantry (which might only last one sitting for me!!lol). You've done well before and I know you can do it again. Welcome back and keep on O!ing!!!

Shari, I sure hope your back gets better soon! Back pain is NO FUN!

Princess...I've never been that fond of the commuter CD, but I know plenty of others love it. I prefer to just do my own routine in the car, mostly just oxybreaths. (I don't multi-task well) I love both the DVDs you mentioned, but think I would go with L2 first. Just my opinion.

Glad to hear you're working on a new CD, Tammy. I can hardly wait!!

okay.... I'll get my O! done soon. See y'all later!

It's a dreary day in the Dallas area today. Got up too late to exercise - just enough time to get dressed and to work. On my way to work, there was a traffic delay - AND GUESS WHAT - I did 15 O! reps in the car. I love Oxycise - I can do it anywhere!! I'll do the other 15 during the day (I love that part, too).

I did well on my water and food yesterday. My DH and I went to eat at PF Chang and chose steamed vegetables, salmon and brown rice. Delicious and nutritious Wink

Have a blessed day...

Melinda

I'm struggling feeling blah today. Confused You know the days where you feel you can't concentrate on one thing and you get sidetracked all the time? Well that's me! Roll Eyes I guess I was so busy the last few weeks that I can't remember how to do just my job, house & kids.

I can tell I've been gone a lot. Lydia said that life is so much better when mom is home. I agree. I just need to get my businesses off the ground on internet and maybe I can be at home more. Smile

I did L 2 this afternoon. Smile

I like the smilies today, can ya tell? Cool

Hello O-pals!

Today I feel like I have a bad case of the flu, but I think it's just from taking too much medicine. I've cut way back today, and have to figure out how much I can expect my body to handle. The Naturopath lady said this might happen, and gave me ideas just how to regulate it, so I'm not really just guessing. Apparently I've been trying to detox too fast. So...no O for me until I feel better.

Tammy, I loved listening to "Yesterday", too! What kind of songs are you doing for your new CD?

Susie, you're welcome. I'm so glad you came back, and just know you can get things together again!!! Kelly's idea of portion control really does work.

Princess, I'm glad to see you back again. I only have Jill's book and the commuter tape, so I'm not able to give you advice on the others. Sorry! Thanks for the PM. Smile

Shelby, give yourself some time to de-stress! Smile

Melinda, your meal sounds good. I've never heard of that place to eat.

Shari, I'm so sorry you're dealing with that kind of pain! I hope things improve for you, and that your DH continues to improve.

Lin, thanks for posting that info. I have looked into their products before, but never bought any. I found some recipes for natural household cleaning products at http://altmedicine.about.com/cs/allergiesasthma/a/HouseholdClean.htm?p=1
They sound pretty good, I think. One of my DILs uses 1/2 cup baking or washing soda, and 1 cup white vinegar per load of laundry, instead of soap. They like the clean way it makes everything smell.

Thanks for being here Kelly and Sheila. Hope some of our other O-pals will post over the weekend. Smile

Evening,

Most of you back east are already snoring away!
I'm getting ready to head off to bed too. I might not post every day just because I'm not doing very well with my "O". Lazy is my middle name these last 6+ months. I did good with my eating yesterday, up until after dinner. Between hubby and I we ate lots, and I mean lots of oreo cookies. I know, I know, don't buy them, but hubby likes them and he keeps telling me he's 61 yrs. old, if he wants something that's not good for him, he'll have it. Kind of hard to stay away when they are right there. Sure I could go into the other room, but I want to watch T.V. with him. So....I can keep going if you want?! Ok I will, today I did pretty good because I was away from home most of the day. Again after dinner, what did we snack on? That's right, the rest of the oreo cookies! I even did some "O" before I left this morning.
None of the "O" is going to do a thing for me if I keep putting the fat and empty calories back into me that I burn off. So tomorrow is a new day. I will try again to eat well, all the way through the day. (Let's hope!)

Until next time...
Susie
