Good morning all,

Happy Friday to everyone. Did L2 this morning before work.

Eating and water has been good, hope to do the same today.

Hope to see more posts today.

Have a wonderful, blessed day.

Yes, Shiela, it is a GOOD morning!

I actually woke up when my alarm clock went off at 5:00am. It felt good to wake up, O! exercise, drink water, and spend time with the Lord. I also had time to dress, make my lunch and make my fruit smoothie without being rushed.

I left the house early enough that when I saw a friend of mine walking her dog, I stopped the car and chatted for 10 minutes and STILL made it to work by 8:00am! That's AMAZING!

I made good choices on my food intake yesterday and even stopped myself from mindless snacking last night by asking myself if I was really "hungry". I wasn't - so I didn't snack. I hope I can do that again today.

Have a blessed day everyone!

Hi O-buddies!!

I've been going to post the last 2 nights, but it's been too stormy. We haven't gotten much rain, but lots of "fireworks". I didn't O last night, but did the night before.

Thanks for every post!! I really do appreciate that there are some who always let us know what's going on! Smile

Rich, I hope your DD is excited about Oxycise! Some people just don't believe it's effective though, so you might have to "show" her. LOL Good luck on your efforts to better health! You're right...the coordination of breathing and exercise gets better with time. I was actually not doing the lift part right, and had lost 30 pounds before I knew that! Smile

Melinda, I don't mean to be argumentive AT ALL, but I've read some interesting articles about why we NEED meat, and one of the most informative ones in on this link:
http://web.archive.org/web/20010407011346/www.westonapr...hs_vegetarianism.htm
Thanks for the info you posted. I really believe that "moderation in ALL things" is the key. One other thing, your blood type also has an effect on how much meat, and which kinds are good for you. I didn't know that until I started using Dr. Peter D'Adamo's book "Eat Right 4 Your Type". I was just re-reading this article, and I see that at the bottom of the Weston Price article, it really bashes Dr. D'Adamo's theory...which brings us to the conclusion AGAIN that you just can't believe everything!!! You've got to go with what works for YOUR BODY!!! Personally, I have felt MUCH better since following Dr. D'Adamo's advice for my blood type, although we have found that it doesn't always hold true. For example, my DIL craves orange juice and that's not something she should even have, but it's obviously something that HER body needs. We've been studying this for 2 years now, and we've really become well acquainted with the needs of our bodies. If you kick the sugar habit, you can really fine tune your digestive system. Sugar feeds cancer, and NOBODY needs that, right? Smile

Millie, I had to find a guideline for calories and food combinations so I could really understand just how much I should expect to eat. I found it in Reader's Digest's Change One plan. If you'd like, I could email you an outline of it. It helped me so much!!!

I hope everyone is having a great Friday and a happy weekend! We're cleaning house, getting ready for a visit from DS's fiancee from MT that we haven't met yet. Guess we may have a wedding this summer.

Shelby, I hope your kids are having a wonderful time over here!

Smile Susanna

Yes, Susanna. I really hope my DD gives O! a try. She's into walking and sometimes gets discouraged when the scale doesn't move.

She's been stuck in about the same place for a few weeks now. She's good about watching what she eats. I'll take my tapes and book to her on Sunday so she can see how it works. It would be great if we could do this together.

Peace and blessings to all. Smile
