Hi Wendy & congrats!

I'm off to do O! here. Gab had 2 wisdom teeth cut out this a.m. so I have been busy here! She is doing ok so far (Thank you Lord!)

Have a great WE all!
Shelby

PS Can someone clue me in on American sizes? 36 is what? Is that a jean waist size perhaps?

French starts at 36 for ladies and that's like a 6. It goes up by 2's. My 16 year old is a 36 & I'm like a 50 (20). Don't French sizes sound awful!!!!!

Well, I've been keeping up my one O! per day. Actually though, I don't do positions, I just do 15 minutes, which allows me to get through reps faster. I timed how long it takes me to do a rep, and based on that, I probably do 1.5 to 2 whole workouts each time. Big Grin No wonder it seems to be working a little better this time around.

I feel your pain Wendy. My first baby (a girl) took a long time to get used to going to bed on time and sleeping through the night. Finally (when she was nearly one) I just had to cut back on her nap time, and that seemed to help. My current baby (a boy) started sleeping through the night like 12 hours at a time since he was about 3 months old. Red Face (Before that he was worse, though.) Try to remember to have fun with her, though, little babies grow up sooo fast. Smile

I looked for an online clothing catalog that has a good size chart, and here is the address to it:

http://www.chadwicks.com/chadwicks/help/size-charts.asp

I know sometimes people here say their weights, but as we are all different heights (and toned differently for that matter), it's hard to tell how someone is doing based on that. Shall we confess our sizes, too? Since I brought it up, I'll give my stats, first:

Weight: 155.5
Top-Half Size: 10 or Medium
Bottom Half Size: 14 or Large

Before my first pregnancy (which started just over 6 years ago), I was 111 pounds, and a size 6 pants. Eek Like we say, I don't care if I lose weight, as long as I can get back into some of my size 6 clothes. And to think I wasn't completely happy with my size then!

Wow...I'm on a roll! Two days in a row on this thread! Man, I'm good! Cool

Anyways, going to do L1 with weights after I get off the computer while my husband goes to H&R Block. HOPEFULLY we'll get a refund this year. (not counting on it, tho. Mad)

Wendy, you're doing great! Keep up the good work! Big Grin And, Rose...last time I weighed 111 pounds I was about 8 years old! Eek

Congrats to all of you who are working so faithfully in getting healthy.

CYA tomorrow, and...

GO PATRIOTS!!!!!! Red Face

We got home late last night, after shopping for groceries, and I was just going to go to bed...but first I read the posts here and you all inspired me to go ahead and do my O! THANK YOU LADIES!!! Big Grin

Wendy, that's FANTASTIC!!! I'm so happy for you!!! Big Grin

Blue Eyes, I'm glad you found the combination that works for you! Congrats on losing another pound! Big Grin

Rose, I always have to make myself Oxy, too. I just seem to be so lazy when it comes to working out, but I love what Oxycise has done for me, and I plan to continue doing it. It helps so much to read the posts of others and feel like it matters to someone else if I go on with this! So, to all of you...remember it matters to me if you go on! Big Grin We're in this together! Big Grin

This size discussion is interesting. My goal was to be able to comfortably wear size 14 again. I can easily do that now, and I have some size 12 skirts that fit comfortably enough if I'm not retaining water. Eek I still have cellulite thighs though, and I'm just not happy with that...know what I mean??? Razz

Julie, you're doing great! You deserve a nap whenever!!! I only did O 19 days in Jan. For shame!

Shelby, those sizes are confusing. My sister was a missionary in Austria for several years, and she gave me a few things that she bought over there. You sure can't tell what size they are in our sizes!!! What a difference!

Donna, will a big grin work in place of a medal? Big Grin I'm proud of you!

Terrie Kay, this will soon pass...sleep whenever you can so you don't get too far behind. (Been there, done that... Wink)In fact our 6 yr old still doesn't sleep the night through most nights...but you know, they keep you awake later, too, when they're in their teen years, and they don't come home on time...etc.!

Kelly, I forgot to answer your question about puppies...I guess mama was just putting on her winter fat and thick fur. Wink

Carol, Happy retirement!!! Wink

I'll check in later to see how everyone's doing.

Hi everyone! Just got back from Denver--ran down to Costco and now it's snowing like crazy up here! Nothing better --than having a house full of good food--and nothing to do--but cozy up--and watch it snow!

I haven't done my O! yet--but after reading all of your posts--I am motivated NOW!

Okay Rose--since you were brave enough to post your stats--I'll give you my pre-pregnancy ones:

In September--I weighed 175 pounds(sounds like alot--but with the breathing--this weight and measurements are possible!)
My measurements were: 36(bust)28.25(waist)38.5(hips)--which is a size 10. I am 5'6 inches tall with medium to large bone structure. I was getting close to being able to wear my size 8's--in skirts-etc--alas--NOT anymore! LOL!

Now that I am pregnant--I haven't taken my measurements--but--I know what my goals are for after June--when my baby is born!

Have a great weekend everyone!
KOB--Julie

Hi everyone! I sure enjoyed reading all your posts since I was last here.

Congratulations to all the losers! Everyone is doing so well!!!

I weighed and measured this morning. My measurements stayed the same, but I was up a pound. Frown ....first time since I started working harder at this last November. Anyway, I'm not worried about it since I'm STILL waiting for TOM to arrive. I've been PMSy for at least two weeks! Yeah, well....in due time. I keep hoping it'll just never come again!

We've had a lot of excitement around here the past 24 hours or so. A good friend of mine ended up in the hospital yesterday with an ectopic pregnancy! She had a friend drive her home from school (she's a teacher) late yesterday morning because she was in severe pain when it ruptured. My dh was hunting with hers and fortunately he had his phone with him. He rushed her to the hospital and they did emergency surgery on her. It's a very dangerous situation. She lost a lot of blood. However...this is the real kicker: she had her tubes tied after her last child was born 4 years ago!!! So...she had no idea she was pregnant! Her kids (3 of them) all came to my house last night and spent the night. They've been in and out today, but may come back tonight. I'm just thankful my friend is okay.

It's really great seeing so many folks here. I hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Yes, I'm posting so very late. Already 7 p.m. Had to go to the store today and now I'm exhausted. Walmart is ALWAYS packed on Saturday and then by the near end of my shopping I just want to get the heck out of there. Especially after pushing a heavy cart and listening to a 4 year old say constantly "are we done yet." Did most of my O this morning. I'm lacking a few reps, which I should go ahead and do but I'm afraid of not being able to sleep. I guess if I do them now when I get off of here I should be okay.

Wendy-You go girl!!! Keep it up!! I can't wait till I say I'm down that much!!! Don't weigh and measure for a couple more days though. Definitley know it's not 11 lbs but any change is a good change.

Shelby-Glad your daughter is doing well. 2 down 2 to go right!!??

Rose-I know EXACTLY what you mean. I was a size 6 in high school and always felt big-guess it was that society pressure thing and before I ever had my first baby I was about I think a 9 or 11 and wasn't happy with that either. was always trying to lose more weight. Now what I wouldn't give to be that size again!!!! I did get back into a 12 after I had my first one but then a year or so after that it just started coming on and then I got pregnant with my second and here I am. Since we are all confessing, here's mine.

Weight-220lbs. wish I could be 155
Shirt size-Finally able to wear some of the XXL that a cousin gave me. Not baggy though. Just wearable.
Pant size-About a 22 to a 24.

I hate being this big. I feel so sloppy-if that makes sense to any one. It's so hard to feel good when you think you don't look good. Not to mention feeling unhealthy, not having good energy, etc. I would like to atleast get to an 8. I would loooovvveee to get back to a 6. I am about 5 7 but mom says that I don't look good that thin because I have bigger bones, but you know how moms are. I think she may have been right though. there are a couple of pics from high school where I just look to pale from being so thin.

Susanna-LOL. That's so funny you should say that about when kids are teenagers and you don't sleep because mom told me she never had a good night's sleep until I moved out of town. Even when I was 20 and living at home she still worried when I was out and couldn't sleep good till I came home which was always around 1 or so in the morning. So funny!!!!

Kelly-Don't feel bad. There's been some days I step on the scale and I'm five pounds up and it's not PMS either. I know the earths rotation and stuff have alot to do with it. Just keep it up. You'll show a change soon. I'm sure next week will be better. The same exact thing happened to my Godmother that happened to your friend. She ALSO had had her tubes tied and didn't know she was pregnant. It ruptured inside her as well and oh my gosh her stomach was completely black and blue. It was scary. She also had some depression afterwards because she felt bad that the baby had burst because she was about 3 months pregnant I believe. And we all know that by then, there's a heartbeat. She felt like it had suffered but it was out of her hands. She didn't know. Thank God she didn't lose her life as well. I hope your friend gets better real soon. Sounds like you are a real good person and atleast she'll have a good shoulder to cry on if she needs it.

Well everyone-I guess I wrote a big note tonight didn't I??? Well, hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend!!!

Terrie
