The last day of June! Good morning! It's great seeing so many new faces (names) posting here!

I've been faithful with my O!. Water has been pretty good, but eating.... well, lets just say I need to get with it again! I will eventually.

Hope everyone's summer is going well so far.

KOB & DYW!!!

Have been breathing as well. Hope to keep the momentum going this week. Last week, I stalled on Thursday. My son was spending the night with friends and my husband and I spent the evening at home watching a movie. It was too hot, I really didn't want to go out and do anything to celebrate.

Another busy week with swimming and a meet on Thursday. Joseph continues to amaze us and his coaches. Some other parents are starting to notice as well and he is not sure that he likes that. They continue to make comments to him about being handicapped and disabled. Although I guess he is, he doesn't feel like he is, nor do we.

Good Morning O!group,

I kept up my O! all weekend, my water was good and my food was moderately good. I took my mother to a Tea Room/Antique Mall to celebrate her 80th birthday! She and I had a wonderful day together, we bought each other a birthday gift, and had bread pudding & decaf coffee after our somewhat healthy lunch.

I am so blessed to have her and my dad still living and in my life. They live very close and even go my church. They will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary in 6/09.

Every day is precious...

Good afternoon everyone,

L2 this morning for me. Eating has been fair, water needs work.

Good to see more posts.

Helene, sorry about your husband, I know it must be hard to lose someone so close to you.

Good morning everyone!

L1 for me today.

Helene, please accept my condolences on your husband's passing. I know today must be a rough day for you.

Melinda, sounds like you had a wonderful time at the Tea Room!

Sandy, I would say the people making the rude comments are more handicapped than your son. I'd say someone who set his mind to accomplish things such as your son has (being amazing in swimming) definitely is not disabled. I could definitely use some of his motivation.

Jerry's uncle had a heart attack this morning. The hospital in Columbus has a mobile ER now even though it is still closed, so he was able to get evaluated then transported to Indianapolis. Hopefully he will be OK. Please keep him (Jim) in your prayers.

Thanks, Shari

Hello ladies!

Only 12 breaths for me today, the pinched nerve in my neck has been bothering me quite a bit. I'm not sure if the O aggravates it or not. Apparently pinched nerves are notorious for taking a long time to heal, so I will just keep on keeping on Smile.

Sandy, it must be hard to hear those comments about your boy. I'm sure it's just ignorance, not meanness that's behind it. As the saying goes, "there's nowt as queer as folk'.

Helena, my condolences and I hope you take it easy on yourself this week.

Melinda, 80 is quite a milestone! Nice to hear that you and your mum had a good outing. Will you let us know how the celebrations for the 60th wedding anniversary go?

Sheila, thanks for your post - I need to up my water intake too!

Shari, I pray that Jim has a speedy recovery. I am sure he is in good hands and getting all the care he needs.

go well!
G.

Thanks, Friends; that's very sweet of you.

I just completed another workout tonight, and it really helped. As I've said before, when I'm Oxycising, I feel as if I'm on a mini-retreat.

Thanks again,
Love,
Helene

Hello, everyone,

Sunday was a non-workout day for me. Did some breaths but that's about all. Water was good but food was only so-so. Took DD, hubby and kids to IHOP for dinner and well......

Today I'm back on track. Have a good evening everyone. Talk to y'all tomorrow. Peace and blessings.

Millie, sorry to hear about your neck. Hope the nerve heals soon.

Helene, I like the thought of Oxycise being a mini-retreat!

Rich, sounds like you had a nice time at IHOP with your family.

Just finished walking on the treadmill. I also took 2 walks outside today in addition to O. Someone mowed a 1/4 mile walking path in the empty field down the street from my house. It's a great place to walk with the dogs as they are afraid of traffic. It's somewhat hilly, so it's a great workout. I am loving my Ipod! Time passes so quickly. I don't know what I ever did without it.

Have a great evening!

Shari
