Today was weigh and measure day, since I wanted to see what my results were for Aug. I have lost 5 pounds, and 1 1/2 inches for my efforts! I'm very pleased!!! That makes 15 pounds since the end of May, and I only have 5 more pounds to lose to be where I was 2 years ago.

I hope some others have happy results to share with us, too!!!

Congratulations, Susanna!!! I'm glad it's coming back off now. I bet you'll get those last 5 pounds off in no time!

I'm happy to report that I'm still exactly where I was a month ago. I'm really pleased that I've been able to maintain my losses over the past 8 months. I'll be glad when I hit the year mark!

Hello Susanna & Kelly

Congrats to both of you... That is fantastic. Can't wait until I am at 5 more to go or have maintained for months.

My Losses this August are 1/2 inch waist 1/2 inch thigh. I think 1/2 inch on my arms. That is with not eating right all month and only four days a week of O. Too many events in Aug. Birthdays and family visits really set me back on that. Birthdays will be done on September 9th. I'll be back on track for sure on the 10th. Already have four days of O in this week. Will get 6 in for sure. Well again way to go Big Grin

Thanks for sharing,
Deb

Sue congratulations on your losses. You'll lose those next five in no time, as you continue staying consistent.

Kelly that is great that you have maintained for eight months.

Deb congratulations on your losses, also. Big Grin I know what you mean about birthdays! This week was my DD's and my eating's been bad Red Face.

Sue it was good to look and see just how well I have done this last month. Down 1/2" in waist an inch in hips and 1/2' arms plus an inch around the ribs Big Grin

Thanks for the encouraging words, Ladies! I love the support on this board!

I'll have to admit that I counted the 15th pound a little too quickly, and it was right back the next morning. So....I have 6 pounds to go, but I feel so much firmer and better since doing O consistently. I have confidence that I'll probably firm up more yet. I need to!

Terry,
Please don't be discouraged. I didn't notice anything with my weight or inches for months. My body didn't want to "give it up" I guess. I'm a very s l o w loser which I have just accepted. I started out at 172 and am now down to 142. I was at 140, but shot back up. Still working on it. Want to get to 135 lbs. So you can see, I've still got a ways to go. I've noticed more going on inside me,(sleeping better, skin smoother, etc.) than on the outside. Hang in there Terry! Continue to keep us posted ok!

Until next time...
Susie

Terry: you will make it just DON'T GIVE UP!!!!
I haven't lost any weight as yet. I know that my metab. is below normal, that's a problem. I've been at it this is the 4 month. I lost inches last month. If you are a dieter, you'll have problems losing weight. Remember: we are coming from an unhealthy place, it takes time for the body to get use to a different life style. It's like with anything else, it rebells to change. Hang tight and it will happen. It's not how fast we get rid of the weight it's how long we keep it off. Don't be discouraged, you didn't gain it in 3 weeks, it won't come off in 3 weeks. Also, some people have a higher metebolism then others. My Mother-In_ Law can go work outside and you can tell she's lost some inches in a couple of days, and for others like you and I, it takes months.

YOU WILL DO IT !!!!!!!!!
