I am very excited about my body's response to the Oxycise program. I did O! several years ago before I was 50 and before I went through menopause (I'm 54 now). I had GREAT results then.

In August 2007 I had my thyroid surgically removed and am now on Armour thyroid. Thyroid is VERY important for your body to run properly. About 3 weeks ago I did a total cleanse. I lost about 8.5 lbs. on the Cleanse and then promptly put several pounds back on. I briskly walk at least 5 x week for 30 minutes but haven't been able to get below 130 lbs. I remembered OXYCISE! I have all the videos/DVD's and I started all over again on March 1.

Since March 1 I have been doing O! for 15-30 min. each day. Today when I weighed I had lost 1.3 lbs. I'm actually below 130 lbs.! I would like to get somewhere between 120-125 lbs. I'll just do it each day with joy and gusto - thanks Jill!!

Good luck Melinda!
I'm in my 50's as well and I am in the process of starting over. I did Oxycise religiously 8 years ago. I was in great health and in great shape. I stopped for reasons I don't even remember not the least of which was my schedule. I only remember that Oxycise was the only program that made me feel good and look good. I am starting over this Saturday March 8, 2008. My goal is to lose 30 lbs and get back to a size 12. Smile Wish me luck.

Hi loyal O-ers Smile
I'm so glad to see women in their 50's..yeah..I'm almost there...48. I think our 50's will be smashing! We are working on it. I was thinking, Melinda..let's believe God that the thyroid issue will be as nothing and not an issue at all. We have a big God. I was excited to see you were down..fun!
I've done day 2 of O and my plan is to do it twice a day. I have been faithful with food and exercise, doing 8 miles a day on the treadmill to no avail for a long time. I feel like God brought this to my attention out of my desparation. Hi Spiritguide and Kelly and Heleen and whoever else is out there. I was shy to post but I might as well dive in. The water is always cold when you first dive in. So this should be fun! I haven't read past posts yet or about anyone. I need to.
Talk to you all later Wink

Well, today I weighed and I was at 129 lbs. (still below 130). I know my body will always fluctuate, I just need to "stay the course". I feel so much better on Oxycise and know for certain that I am doing a wonderful thing for my body.

Every day is a new day to begin again...halleluia!
