Those of you who have lost weight successfully:

What was your turning point? What was it that finally motivated you to make a commitment to yourself and follow through with it?

(For those who respond -- may I use your comments in the newsletter?)

Thanks!

A couple years ago I needed to have a minor operation. The doctor was hesitant to operate because I was too overweight at 105 kilos (about 231 lbs). That plus the fact I was having sore knees & I was only like 38 got me motivated. Since I started Oxycise, I have lost 38 lbs & lots of inches. I went from a size 22 down to an 18. I still have more to go but I'm going to be patient & persevere with O! I didn't put it on overnight & it won't come off overnight either.

My older daughter got married in the fall of 2000. I was horrified at how I looked in the wedding photos. That inspired me to start Oxycising (I had already bought the program, but hadn't really given it a chance) and change my eating habits. I lost 44 pounds and numerous inches in the first year! Since then, I've gotten back into my old eating habits. However, with consistent Oxycise I've managed not to gain back all the weight I lost. Yes, I've gained back about half of it, but that's because I've been eating like a fiend! I know it will all come off again if I'll cut out all the junk food and empty calories.

I would never quit doing Oxycise just because of all the other benefits besides weight-loss. I love the way it makes me feel!

My turning point my first time around was that I was still wearing maturnity cloths, when my daughter was 3 months old....

Now, my 2nd time turning back to O! is that my post pregnancy pants are now tight...the same pants that I had packed away because they were to loose after doing Oxycise and Curves for 2 months.

I had Jill's book, but didn't have an eating plan. When the Jan. 2003 issue of Reader's Digest came, I sat down with their outline of the Change One Plan, and decided that it was something I could handle, combined with Oxycise.

By Jan. 2004, I lost 68 pounds, and 34 inches. Since then, I've gained 12 pounds back due to some health problems. Now I'm feeling better, and have taken off 4 of those pounds. Recently, I started reading the Change One book, and I feel like I'm getting a handle on things again. It's full of good advice, and yummy recipes, as well as helpful charts. I hope you'll soon be hearing my victory song!
