OK, here it is (drum roll)...September challenge weekly report:
Did 6 O's this week!! Smiling most of the time. And that includes skipping two days. Thank you, everybody, for helping me be inspired to do that. Next week, working on drinking more water and cutting out the unhealthy snacks.
Down 2 lbs., although I think there was an artifical spike in weight this past week, which was pretty dismaying. Possibly hormonal? Anyway, thank goodness only 12 lbs. above my recent low now instead of 14. I'm on my way. No reduction in inches yet. But it'll come, right?
Anybody else got an "O" tally for the week?

Hey Phyllis! That's grand!!! I'm so proud of you for just jumping right back on the O-wagon and making some real progress!!! WOOO HOOO!!!
I did O five times last week, also smiling most of the time, and I'm happy with that. I'm not showing any losses yet for Sept., but that's okay. I WOULD like to lose a bit more, before the 29th, since our son is getting married that day, and my skirt would be a little more comfy if I could shed a couple more pounds. However, it will work now! It's a size 12. I am 5'10", and size 12 is absolutely the smallest I would want to go. Otherwise, I look like a scarecrow!
Anyone else have a weekly tally?

Here are my results: did O six times (yay!) even though I ended up skipping 2 days. Would generally just skip one. Measurements are stubbornly staying the same. However, did drop 2.5 lbs. of that fake weight spike (hormone/water weight?), and was able to squeeze into some pants I couldn't wear last week, so things are happening. Now I'm 9.5 lbs. above my recent low. Getting back there and will go beyond, with the help of this board. I am shooting for being able to wear more of my regular clothes this week...

A chi machine is just a small exerciser that you lay on the floor and put your feet on, and it wiggles your "tail" back and forth like a fish. That's really what it's imitating. The idea is that it moves oxygen through your body, because you breathe deeply while you lay there. You can tighten muscles, and I do the Oxybreath with it quite often, and use my weights, too. It is quite energizing though, so you don't want to do it before bed. I found that out the hard way!

Hey Susanna! Looks like you're thinking about me subconciously because you spelled another Terry's name like mine. Ha ha!! You miss me that much don't ya! The funny thing is when I read that post I was thinking about writing what's a chi machine to and then saw your reply and kind of got weirded out for a minute because I knew I hadn't been on these boards in how do you say it " a coons age". I'll reply to your email when I can find it I have about 1000 and some odd emails built up from not checking very often. I'm feeling soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better now that baby is out though! I can walk! and quickly too!! Ha ha! She, yes, another she, was born on Aug. 26. Another 8 pounder. 8-10 to be exact. Her name is Summer Reese. Jeff insisted on naming her Summer and we got Reese from Reese Witherspoon because I like her name and that's his favorite actress. Well, better jet for now. Hi to everyone!! I'll be back soon!!

CONGRATULATIONS, TERRIE KAY!!! I'm so happy for you!!! I love your baby's name, and I'm so glad you feel so much better. It's wonderful to hear from you again, and I'll be waiting for your email. And, yes, I was thinking of you when I typed the name.
Terry Mox, sorry for mispelling your name! I admire you for sticking with O even though you don't think you're having results. It takes longer for some folks, but those who are consistent usually see some good changes. I wish you the very best!

Even if you haven't lost any weight yet, I'm wondering if you've measured and noticed any lost inches? Are you feeling mentally and/or physically better? Any other little improvements? There are lots of ways to measure progress. Also, I have noticed that sometimes nothing will happen for a while, then all of a sudden, improvement. So hang in there!

Yeah like one of the changes is even though your kids drive you crazy, you can handle it better. So instead of ripping your hair out, you just take a couple of deep breaths and go with it. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I got rid of those 3 lbs. from the chocolate chip cookies last weekend. So I'm where I was last weekend. This month so far, I'm down maybe a lb., with virtually no change in measurements. BUT...I feel much better, I feel stronger, more muscular, and a little slimmer even though those measurements have yet to catch up with me. I did squeeze into that pair of dress pants and am looking to gain more of my wardrobe soon. Three weeks is not that long of time, one must be patient (sigh). Oh--did a big SEVEN O's this week (including 2 commuters). Giving myself a pat on the back! Again, focus this week will be watching snacking, portions, and drinking water. There is lots of room for improvement there.

Phyllis, here's a big pat on the back from me, too! I'm so proud of you!!! I'm glad that you're realizing so many benefits again, from doing O consistently.
So far I've done my workouts 5 times per week each week this month. I aim to keep it up, even while we're in MT for our son's wedding.
Terrie Kay was living in Las Vegas, but I think she and her family moved recently, to a state back east. (TN?) Hopefully she'll come on and tell us where again.
