Hi, everyone. Please help!

As you all may know I started doing a Leslie Sansone 2-mile walking/strength training tape 3-5 days a week on Feb. 24. I didn't check my progress at all until I started doing O! on May 13. I do O! 7 days a week with 2 1/2 lb weights on my ankles and wrists along with the LS tape. Starting on Sept 11 I increased my water consumption to 132 ounces a day. I have also cleaned up my eating in that I have removed "partially hydrogenated" foods and refined sugar from my diet.

Here's the thing...as of 4 weeks ago I have lost 24 inches. But it has been 4 weeks and I haven't seen one inch lost! Now, I don't have a scale, and I haven't done a BMI on myself, so, is it possible that I'm only getting some of the pieces of the puzzle? I know from some of the posts and from the newsletter that you can lose inches and not pounds. But, is the opposite true? Can you lose pounds and NOT inches? Should I invest in a scale?

Does it sound like I'm rambling? It should, because I'M SOOOO CONFUSED!!! Has anyone ever experienced this? What could I be doing wrong? I'm really losing faith in myself.

HELP, HELP, HELP, HELP!!!!!!!!

Thank you,
Donna Frown

Yes, Donna, it is possible to lose pounds and not inches. I've been doing that this last month. I've seen very little change in measurements, but the pounds are slowly coming off anyway.
You are doing very well!!! Plateaus are a very normal part of losing weight. Your body has to have time to adjust to the changes that you are making. Hang in there!!!

Hi Donna,

I agree with Susanna, it is definately possible to loose pounds and not inches, I have been doing that this month too.
So keep up the good work, things will start to happen when you least expect it.
