Hi all!

I'm new "again" to Oxycise. According to my records, this is the 5th time since Dec 1998 I've started the program. I'm not sure why I stop, because I always see amazing results. I must let "life" get in the way. But not this time!

I've been getting steadily larger since about two years after college. But I'll be 35 this summer and I'm tired of being this large. I'm 5'3" and wear a size 22/24. I don't have a specific weight goal, as I've got a large frame and a lot of muscle (serious weight lifting in college). But I'd love to get back in to my wardrobe of size 12 suits, dresses, etc.

So you'd think I'd have started out with gusto. But no. I only did Oxycise 5 days last week. And only one day was with a video (L1). The other 4 days I did about 30 reps with the commuter audio spread between my drive to work and my drive home. And did I see results?

I lost one inch around my rib cage (bra strap), and 3/4 of an inch from each of my upper abs, waist, lower abs and hips. That's four inches lost across 5 measuring points. Woo hoo!!! Plus, I had a dramatic improvement in my rosacia without any medication (or even medicated soap).

Just to tie up the whole picture, I've obviously got a lot of inches to loose. My eating habits are not that great and the only change I made in the last seven days was to really focus on getting in as much water as possible. I did drink an average of 8 cups of water per day (but one day that joined a frozen strawberry Margarita and on two other days I had a soda or two in addition to the water). I also have lots of previous experience with Oxycise and diaphramatic breathing, so I do the inhale, sniffs, exhale, puffs, and especially the abdominal lift, with lots of effort. I definately sweat and the videos can get my heart rate up to 70% of max, so I'm into that target training zone (although that's not always the case with the commuter routine).

When I'm researching new programs, I always look for someone like me who's seeing results. So I posted all of this to hopefully help someone else out there find a viable option with Oxycise!

Thanks!

Robyn

Thanks for posting, I love to read about results, I also started and stopped a few times. The one thing I notice the most is that the people who really are seeing huge results are the ones who never quit, 5,6 months...or 1,2 years are the biggest weight losers Eek. Thats what I want so I think all I have to do is keep going, I don't have to worry each week if I'm losing or not, just keep breathing Big Grin. But it is nice to see it working too.
I just started seriously again at the end of March, after going for about 2 months last year, and seeing results, I still quit. So this time I am using this forum for support, it's working great too. Especially in the daily accountability section, and the D2L ladies there Wink. Its awesome!

Robyn,
Since I've been an on & off user, I know how you feel, but hope we can help each other stay with the program!
