Hi, all!

Down another 1 1/2 inches since last report! Total inches lost since May 13...43 1/2 inches!

Thanks to all of those who gave advice and encouragement regarding the Christmas party I was attending. I drank wine, didn't drink all my water and had dessert, but I refused to feel guilty about it. I had a good time, and that was all there was to it! I guess the moral of the story here is as long as you pick yourself up by the bootstraps after you "fall off the wagon", you won't lose any ground on the progress you have made. I'm living proof of that...having still lost inches this week.

Had another Nor'easter this weekend...got another foot of snow. It's pretty out there, but I have a feeling this is a harbinger of things to come this winter. Gonna be a bad one!

Congratulations go out to all the "losers" this week, and thoughts and positive vibes go out to all of the "plateauers" .

Also, many thanks to our armed forces who got their mission accomplished over the weekend by capturing Saddam. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a new era of peace for Iraq, and all of the world. How fitting that it happened this time of year.
