Well....I've got great news and not-so-great news.
The great news is that I lost 1 1/2" from my lower abs, 1/2" off each thigh, and 1/2" from my left upper arm. The not-so-great news is that for some gosh-awful reason, I GAINED 4 pounds!!!! I'm sort of upset at the weight gain, but I am THRILLED by the inch loss! *sigh* Oh, well...'till next week. Take care everyone, and KEEP BREATHIN'! Susan in Kuwait |

Susan,
Muscle weighs more than fat. You have probably lost fat & gained muscle. I haven't lost a pound but I have lost 6 1/2 inches, so I think I am going to stay off the evil scale and just rely on the tape measure and how my clothes feel. I have lost two pant sizes and one blouse size, so I know it is working. Hang in there. Keep doing what you are doing. It WILL get better! It has to. All those testamonials can't be wrong! |

Alicia, I know what you're saying is true, but it's just that psychological hit when you see that the numbers are bigger than before!
I KNOW that this works, because I lost over 20 pounds doing it before. I just have to stick to it. And like you, I need to remind myself that INCHES are the important thing. If my clothes fit well (or I have to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe!!!!!) then I'm doing alright. Take care everyone, and KEEP BREATHIN'! Susan in Kuwait |
