Hello fellow oxycisers,
Started on July 19. Did the Level 1 workout on 5 days. Also did the abs and upper body workout on 3 of those days. Took a 35-40 minute walk outside on 2 evenings and lifted 4.5 pound free weights on 3 mornings. Eating was about the same as usual. Lost half a pound and 1/2" from my wasit, hips, and thigh. Total of 1 1/2" inches. No change in arm, chest, rib cage measurements. Although, I'm not convinced that I couldn't just be measuring at a slightly different spot. Clothes don't feel any looser yet. The level 1 workout is pretty easy to do, and I feel like I've gotten better with the breathing technique. The 3 sniffs in were tricky at first. One problem with the breathing, though. I find that if I "smile" while inhaling, I tend to take air in through my mouth instead of my nostrils. Had some difficulty with a few positions on the abs/upper body tape. The big and little dipper moves on the chair are impossible for me to even begin to do. I guess my torso is way too heavy for my triceps to begin to lift. I also do not have the flexibility to lean backwards onto my heels in the floor positions, or to lift my torso into a bridge position unless I use all the sides of my feet to do most of the lifing. The abs/upper body tape does allow me to break a sweat, but nowhere near the drenching sweat I achieve after 3 miles on the treadmill. But this programs says you don't need to sweat, right? |

If you take in air thru the mouth when you smile, your tongue needs to be on the alveoli on the roof of your mouth (it's natural resting place).
Shelby, who went thru tongue reeducation a year ago & now son #1 is doing it too |
