"I suffer from depression, hypothyroidism and fibromyalgia. I need to exercise for all my health problems, yet have very little energy and motivation to exercise. I was never an active person, and walking on a treadmill is not fun for me. And running, well forget that. I bought the Oxycise! tapes years ago and would do it for a while and then put them away and forget about them. Well I started them again, just last week, and I already feel a difference. I feel better when I do it, and actually crave Oxycise! I never felt I had to exercise before. Oxycise! is perfect for me. It's only 20 minutes long, I get to stretch my muscles, I get the aerobic part I need, and I can do it barefoot. I shared my tapes with a friend who is doing them with me, she also likes the Oxycise! program, and doesn't think it's weird. My children are having a good time leading me in my Oxycising: 'Three more puffs, one, two, three.' I am planning to stay with it, and will keep you updated on my progress. "Dear Julie,
I’m usually not one to do a lot of emailing, but I have just finished reading your 2/22/05 newsletter and wanted to add my thanks to the group. I look forward to reading the next edition of the newsletter. Keep it coming.

"I got Oxycise! about 3 years ago, did it for a while, had some success, and then due to a lot of circumstances in my life, I put it on the shelf.

"A year ago I started having a lot or problems with my right knee (partly due to my weight). The pain got so bad I went to the doctor and got diagnosed with osteoarthritis. I hate going to physical therapy so I got on a good eating program and dusted off my Oxycise! Level I workout. That was May 2005. I have gone from a very tight 20W jean to a loose fitting size 12P. I am 55 years old and people think I am 45. Even my husband told me that I have lost weight better with this program than all of the other diets/exercise I have tried (a lot of others). Also my knee is 98% pain free!!!

"I do the Level 1 workout 5 days a week, commuter tape on my way to work (weather permitting) and “O!” throughout the day when I have a few extra minutes. I have never felt better. I have made a promise to myself that I will not ever put Oxycise! back on the shelf! I have three wonderful grandchildren and I want to stay active and healthy for them. My goal is a size 6 and I know it is attainable with Oxycise! and a healthy eating plan."

"New newsletter looks great, easy to read. Keep them coming my way. I need the encouragement! Especially when I get caught up in 'doing' rather than being. I have 'let go' 22 lbs since starting Oxycise! I want to release more weight. Sporadic (many weeks on and then something will happen and many weeks off) is the way in which I would describe my formal use of all the positions in Level 1 with my breathing exercises. I am a walker and most often will combine a 30 minute walk with my breathing exercises and then a cool down time using some favorite positions along with my breathing. I continue to use the breathing exercises even if, especially if, I can't walk or do the various positions. When I feel stressful while driving or am on a special assignment I will remind myself to breathe. THIS IS ONE OF MY GREATEST SURVIVAL SKILLS. So Jill & Julie hang-in-there with me/us. I/we need you."
