"I am a religious user of the commuter routine tape as I am on the road traveling to and from work one hour each way each day. I use it when I am about 15 minutes from my home as a way to transition from Work Woman to Loving Mommy. When I am finished any anger, depression, frustration or concern has dropped from me and my body. It feels like magic." ~ Sarah

If you plan to travel this summer, don't leave Oxycise! behind! Here are some ways our customers take Oxycise! along when they leave home:

"You know you love Oxycise! when you take your tapes on vacation and ACTUALLY DO THEM! I recently went to Florida to visit my parents and I took along my Level 2 workout (my mom has Level 1 -- not that she does it -- but I'm working on her!). Anyhow, of the 13 days I was there I actually did Oxycise on 8 of those days -- this is the first time in my life that I've EVER done my exercise routine on vacation! It was especially funny one evening after my husband and I had been out for the day and came back late, he wanted to watch NYPD Blue and I couldn't use the only TV for Oxycise. So I did Level 1 from memory without the tape! You KNOW you've been doing Oxycise a long time when you can hear Jill's voice in your head.... "Okay, are you ready to burn some of that extra fat -- let's do it!" and then when you finish one position you just know which one to go to next! It was great! Even though it was really hard some nights (or afternoons) to push myself to start the workout because it wasn't at my regularly scheduled time like at home, I was ALWAYS happy when I pushed myself to do it. I also noticed that I had a lot more energy on this trip than last year at the same time -- even my mom noticed it, and my mom's friend (that I hadn't seen in a while) said I looked great. Jill, I just have to say -- I LOVE THIS PROGRAM!!!!!!!!!"

"Hi! I have known about Oxycise! for about 2 years and have done it off and on (okay mostly off). I have posted on this board before, but mostly lurked, but right now I am so excited I had to share! We just went on a 2 week, 6000 mile trip and when we travel (more than a half hour) I can't usually stay awake and I miss all the beautiful scenery, so I decided to put O! to the test!!! I did 2 Basic Breaths every half hour. It did amazing things. (1) It kept me awake; (2) It controlled my snacking; (3) I had taken a pair of shorts along that I could not fasten and after 6 days I could and did wear them (it did help that no one knew me, LOL); (4) I had so much energy my family couldn't keep up; (5) I have lost 3 pounds since we left; (6) I didn't snore in the hotel rooms!! (7) My legs didn't ache from being cramped in the car for 8 hours a day!! All in all it was truly amazing!!!"

"Had a wonderful trip to Texas and Arizona this past month, and Oxycised every day while I was gone. With that and watching my carbs, I came back 5 lbs lighter than when I left. Still breathing...still hanging in there!

(1) I exercised with a combination of the tapes...my daughter-in-law has all your tapes and her children do them as their summer physical fitness exercises in Arlington, Texas.
(2) Did exercises that I memorized from Jill's book while at other family member's homes in other parts of Texas and Arizona.
(3) Did O! breathing while taking walks before the heat of the day set in...those places get hot! It went well."

"Hi,
I thought that I would drop a note to tell you that my husband and I travel very much throughout Asia, and reside in Japan. While we were back in the states in the spring of 2000, I saw the infomercial about Oxycise! Knowing how he and I both needed to exercise since we are either sitting in airports, on planes, trains, or in our offices, it really caught my attention.

"I had purchased exercise equipment to use at home, but since we have averaged being home a week per month in Japan during the past couple of years, it has been useless. I purchased small things like exercise stretch bands and such to carry in our suitcases, but nothing ever seemed to work out.

"I decided to write down the information from the TV and then called later on. I decided to order it and talk to my husband later about it. At first he wasn't sure about it, but then decided to give it a try. I thought that you'd be glad to know that he does it on the Int'l flights. He does it in the airports. He does it in the hotels. He does it just about anywhere. It is something that can be done anywhere, of course adjusting the movements to the location of where you are. On the plane, he uses the positions like on the cassette for the car.

"He and I both have told many people about it and have gotten several started on it. Last year I did it for a few weeks and was amazed at the condition of my whole body. I traveled to Tokyo and went up and down the steps in the train stations with no thought of being out of breath. In fact, I realized that I left my friends behind, because I was walking up the steps so quickly. They were really out of breath.

"For whatever reason, I didn't continue to follow through and slumped off. Recently, I have made up my mind to follow through with 'O!' and already I have lost an inch off my waist in just a few days. I'll keep you posted in the future of my success. My husband has toned down and continues to lose weight through a diet but the real difference in shaping up has came through 'Oxycising.'

"I put the video onto a 60 min. cassette tape, plus the car driving positions, to carry with him into the various countries, and he has faithfully used it regularly in the hotel rooms. He lasts about 30 minutes at a time. By the way, the ONLY place we can't Oxycise! is India because of the pollution. :-) ...After I purchased the 2 video tapes, cassette, and book last year, we returned to Japan and I immediately sold the exercise equipment. It just took up space and we no longer needed it. Oxycise! is definitely a part of
our lives."

Thank you,
Sharon D. Corbett

*** BOB ***

“I started the Oxycise! some time ago, well about the first of the year, and I had 50 pounds I wanted to rid myself of. I started the Oxycise! and low-carb diet at the same time and I have lost over 50 and am maintaining this quite well. It took me 6 months to do this and I am so proud to have the program to use. I tried it with just the low-carb and it was slow and as soon as I added the Oxycise! I not only started to lose, I felt a lot better.

"I have more energy and can do a lot more things than before. I watch the video and do the exercises with Jill and I feel she is part of my family now. I am 76 years old/young and feel better than I have in the past 10 years. I am ready to move up to the Level 2 workout and wanted to say how much I love the program. May God Bless."

*C* Oxycise! Q &A
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Dear Jill,
After 3 months of the Oxycise! program I have lost no weight, no fat, and no inches. I don't get it...I am discouraged. Why is this working for everyone but me? I don't understand. I only want to lose 5-7 pounds. Any encouragement?"
Susan
"Dear Susan,
The key to success with Oxycise! is to do it with LOTS of power. Really pump in the air and blow it out hard, and flex your muscles with lots of intensity. Have you measured your inches? Do you have tighter abs, or legs or arms?
"Here is my quick "tone up" regimen that I just did last month. I had been traveling quite a bit for several months and all my clothes were too tight, and I had gained about 5 lbs.
1. Oxycise! five times per day. I never did more than two workouts back-to-back. So typically I did 2 workouts in the morning, two later in the morning, and one in the afternoon.
2. Drink lots of water.
3. Eat plenty of food -- but only from the A and B list in my Fuel for Success Book. (With very few exceptions.)
"The results??? I lost 7 lbs. in two weeks, and all my clothes were loose on me. Now I'm back doing Oxycise! once or twice a day, and eating healthy -- with a few more exceptions. Go for it! You'll love it."
Keep on breathin'
Jill
*D* Cool Recipe – Shannon’s Gazpacho
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SHANNON'S GAZPACHO

Here's my Gazpacho recipe. It serves about 10. I just make it and have it
during those awful hot heat waves when you don't want to cook, but want
something cool to eat. It's also so good for you!

Basic recipe:

4 medium-size tomatoes
2 medium size cucumbers
1 green bell pepper
6-8 scallions
2 cloves of garlic
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/3 cup olive oil
Black Pepper
1-1/2 teaspoons cilantro
1 can of low fat/low sodium chicken or veggie broth
3 cups of V-8 juice
Worcestershire sauce
Tabasco Sauce

Cut tomatoes and cucumbers in 1/4" chunks; making sure to remove seeds.
Put in large bowl.

Chop pepper and scallions, including greens, into similar-sized chunks also.
Add to bowl with the tomatoes and cucumbers.

Mash garlic. Combined garlic, vinegar, olive oil, pepper and cilantro to form a
salad dressing. Pour into the bowl of vegetables and stir to coat.

Add broth and vegetable juice to mixture. Stir well. Add Worcestershire and
Tabasco to taste.

Chill at least an hour.

Note: I also add other veggies that I have available-- carrots, corn, beans, etc.
Sometimes I serve it with baked pita chips or baked corn chips and top the
soup with a dollop of sour cream!

REMEMBER: You have a magnificent body. Treat it right!

Had anyone seen the September newsletter? It's been quite a long time since I've gotten one. Have they changed things? Have I just not noticed?

Until next time...

Hi,
My name is Rita and I've been doing Oxycise on and off for about 3 years.
I'd like to have someone that I could email regularly to feel motivated and also motivate.

I live in Spain, by the way.

Hi Rita,

If you come and join us on the D2L board we can give you daily support. It's been very slow lately because of the holiday but hopefully it will pick up again. Post this message over on the Daily Support and Accountability (D2L) board. Hopefully you'll get some takers.
