Michael Washington ordered an Oxycise! book and video set recently and immediately got started. He writes:

"I read the entire book in one day. And then I started the tape program. Previously I had found a program that was helping me lose weight. But I wasn't losing many inches. And I was intrigued by the fact that your program doesn't make you sweat, and it doesn't require a lot of time. I was very skeptical. Even though I could tell the increase in the amount of air I could take in, I wasn't losing any weight. I decided not to do any other exercises so I could see how your plan worked. Because I felt if this worked I could do this anywhere any time. SURPRISINGLY after just one week I lost 1 inch off my chest, 2 inches off my waist 1 inch off my hips, and 2 inches off my thighs. And I lost 2 lbs. That's 6 inches in one week. I was blown away. How could something so easy work like this. I am a 6ft 1" 279 lb male. My goal is to make it to 180 lbs, 10 lbs lighter than my high school weight. That's 99 lbs. My max weight was 321 lbs.

Dear Jill:

Your book, DVDs and CD which I ordered arrived yesterday in great condition. Now I have a question that appears to be baffling doctors and am wondering if in your research you have come across a similar situation.

For two days last week I was hospitalized because my blood oxygen level dropped to 78-80 and then only came back up to 90 and it was fear that I had blood clots in my lungs. The latter has been ruled out because I had NO chest pain prior to the blood oxygen level drop! and no signs of any place in my legs developing blood clots which might cause one to travel astray. The diagnosis is Hypoxia and only suggestion is to be placed on oxygen for the rest of my life as well as inhalers. Now What??

As a bit of history, 3 cardiologists in early 1998 said I was in congestive heart failure and that I must immediately STOP all exercise (I was a dance instructor teaching clogging and line dance) and be very quiet and sedentary. So I did but not after watching my body, especially the joints "freeze" up and soon lose quite a bit of mobility.

By September I had moved from Arizona to Oklahoma to be closer to my daughter for the "end times." Yet, still having to provide for myself, I sought employment, part of which was climbing a set of stairs several times a day. VOILA! my joints again became mobile, and until April 2000 I was functioning, even walking.

Still I have had to monitor my blood oxygen levels as they tend to be around 93-94 rather than 98-100. Last doctor with whom I spoke (since hospitalization) is also concerned that lungs might not be operating fully and wants me to see a lung specialist. Further my mother, a very heavy smoker all of my life, died of COPD in Feb. 2004.

Yet, I often question my body and listen to the Spirit within. It was at such time that I went searching on the internet for information regarding Hypoxia as well as Deep Breathing Exercises. The latter is how I came across your site. And yes, I also need to lose some weight.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Dear Kay,

I have seen many people dramatically improve their oxygen levels and lung capacity by simply doing these breathing exercises, so I think you're definitely on the right track. Of course, with your health history, always consult with your physician.

I am attaching a letter (below) that was written to me by a wonderful man who had very low blood oxygen levels and credits Oxycise! with saving his life. Hopefully you will have similar results!

You might use caution and gradually increase your intensity with Oxycise!

I suspect you are going to see some great results.

I Love You!

I love you for developing Oxycise, and I love Dianne for helping me learn it. The two of you saved my life!

On December 17th I collapsed and was taken to the emergency room—acute pulmonary malfunction. I had never smoked but I did work with toxic chemicals while in the service. The doctors pulled fluids from my lungs and kept me on a respirator (they told my wife I wouldn’t be around in 6-8 months). I was released from the hospital about the second week of January and was to stay on oxygen at a high rate for the rest of my life.

With nothing else to do except read, I watched a lot of TV. Channel 9 News had a short blip about you and I called as soon as they gave the number for more information. I then came to the studio, my wife had to drive me—you may remember me and my damn green buddy (the oxygen tank). I bought the tapes and started learning to breathe again. I wasn’t strong enough to do the exercises, but I did the breathing twice the first day and increased almost everyday ‘til I was doing the 8-10 times daily. My wife and I started classes as soon as I could. I had not told my pulmonary doctor about Oxycise, but on my checkup in late March he refused to believe the readings the nurse had put down. He took the test again and then feeling the machine was faulty he obtained another machine and re-tested me. I then told him about the Oxycise program and how I had been doing my exercises to increase my lung capacity. He told his nurse to take me for a walk, then he changed his mind and took me for a walk himself. We walked 17 minutes without oxygen stopping only for him to take readings. He reduce the level of oxygen I was to take and set another appointment for each week through the end of June and asked if I would bring the tapes in so he could view them. He still hasn’t returned them! He left the area to return to John Hopkins University Hospital to work in research but before leaving he told me I didn’t have to be on oxygen anymore except when I exercise or at night. Now my little green buddy just rides around in the car.

Oxycise has improved my life! I would like to spread the word to other folks who are dealing with pulmonary problems: GIVE IT A TRY!
