A customer who has been taking several different kinds of aquatic classes (water aerobics, etc.) shared the following in an email:
"I also took a pool class for six weeks in which the instructor emphasized deep diaphragmatic breathing. He suggested that if I did the deep breathing for 15 minutes several times a day that I would lose weight. I told him that I have done a lot of deep diaphragmatic breathing throughout my life, as I have practiced yoga for many years, and I also told him about trying Oxycise! He said that perhaps I just wasn't doing it "right" since it has been his experience that everyone who did deep diaphragmatic breathing several times a day would lose weight, even if nothing else had worked for them in the past." |

Absolutely. I think I've mentioned this before but I will again. Every woman here in France can have free appts with a physical therapist to help them get back in shape after childbirth. One of the exercises I did was like the the torpedo & she emphasized how important the breathing was to help lose weight & tone the abdomen.
