I've been doing O! for about 5 days and believe I am doing good but I've gained 2lbs!? I'm so cautious of this because I've lost 5 in the last month and really don't want to gain. Is this common and if it is for some when can I start seeing it come off? I've been doing O! at least 2x a day and really love it but really need to lose. I've lost 1/2 inch on my waist and can feel the muscles toning up so I am happy but I am concerned with the weight gain.

As long as you haven't been blowing it in the food department. If you're anything like me, your weight will fluctuate by a pound or so from day to day, especially if your period is near. The other pound is probably muscle and something to be welcomed. Stick with it! As long as the inches go down, you're on the right track.

P.A. is right -- it's normal for weight to fluctuate up and down.
In fact if you weighed yourself in the morning AND evening every day you'd probably see your weight go up and down by a few pounds. In the book "Chart Your Success!" Jill Johnson recommends weighing every day at the same time, so you will get used to your own normal weight range. This will help you be more aware of real changes and downward trends. We have had a number of customers report inch loss and weight gain at the same time... and some have documented the fat loss with lower body fat percentage. However a continuing UPWARD trend in weight may indicate a need for more healthy eating habits. Happy Breathing! Julie |
