Hi,
I have a question about the torpedo exercises - which I LOVE by the way! My legs don't touch the floor when I try to do it properly with the small of my back in the floor. I have to bend my knees. I think the problem is that my rear end is a little too padded. Even when I was skinny I had this problem, but not as bad as now. I could tilt my pelvis more then so that it wasn't a big problem. : )So my question is: Is that ok? Or is it more important to stretch from head to toe and not worry about where the lower back is?
Thank you in advance for considering my question. I know that you are busy. : )

Sincerely,
im4kingdom

Yes, it is fine to bend your knees in the torpedo positions. It is important that you do the pelvic tilt and that your lower back is against the floor and not arched. You are more likely to cause injury if you are arching your back trying to push your legs down.

Remember that if there is any position that is making you uncomfortable or causing you pain, you can always feel free to modify it or eliminate that position and double up on another.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you again! : ) When I did bend my knees it caused my calves to ache afterwards the first time. I will try it again or have to do as you say and double up on another. I would really miss the torpedo exercises though. They are my favorite!!!
