My sister-in-law is borderline with emphysema from years of smoking, has since quit but has to use an oxygen tank from time to time during the day.Do you think she would be able to do the deep breathing exercises of oxycise and would she benefit as I'm convinced she would?

Hi Sherrie,

Thank you for your interest in Oxycise! Below is a quote from Jill that I hope you will find helpful:

"We have not done any official research on asthma or emphysema, however we have received comments back from respiratory therapists who have indicated that the Oxycise! breathing methods are very healthy and beneficial for their patients. In addition, we have sold many Oxycise! kits to people with respiratory problems including asthma, emphysema, allergies, and smoking, who have found that this is an aerobic activity which they are able to do."
Jill Johnson

I also recommend that you have your sister check with her doctor before beginning the Oxycise! program. You may also want to visit the following link to the Oxycise! success stories:

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
