When I work out at my own speed I tend to go faster than the video by about 3 reps. Is this ok? I think I am still doing the breathing correctly & powerfully enough. I've been trying to get in L1 & 2 per day & it helps to not use the video since it seems to slow me down.

It's OK to vary the speed of your breathing.
As long as you are using full inhales and exhales
and lots of ab power, your results should be the same.

(The breathing for the "Easy Does It" workouts is slower than it is for the regular workouts.)

Thanks Julie.
Sometimes I feel I use more ab power at my own speed.

I know what you mean...

Sometimes when I was new at Oxycise! it felt like I was able to work my abs better when I did the breathing alone, while driving or just sitting still.

If you really focus on tightening and scooping your abs, you can get a real good "burn" by the time you get to the last 3 puffs!

This is probably easier when you aren't concentrating on doing body positions at the same time.

But the goal is to be able to achieve "perfect breathing" AND perfect body positions (really flexing and working every muscle) at the same time!

That is why I still like L1 best. I can do both breathing & positions better & with more power.
