Hi Jill or Julie,
I started using O! last fall, but was pretty much defeated by my terrible eating habits and a fall I took. I needed a way to deal with the eating, and I've finally found it.

I am NOT dieting, simply eating healthy. The problem is, I seem to be loosing too fast, according to the advice I receive.

What I'm doing is 5 minutes of O! on my way to work (short commute), 10 min at a.m. break, 5 min. at afternoon break, and when I'm feeling extra perky, 5 min. in the evening while watching TV (this is probably 2-3 times a week).

In the past 5 weeks, I've lost 13 lbs...an average of 2.6 lbs per week. While I'm really thrilled with this, I'm told that loosing at this rate will result in rebound weight gain, and it's supposedly not healthy.

I feel GREAT! Better than I have in years, and I repeat, I am not restricting my food intake, except for eliminating sugar, white flour products, etc. I'm actually eating MORE than I was before...just making better choices and not skipping meals or snacks.

Do you think I should slow down on the O!ing? Or will this rate loss decrease once I get used to the O! process?

Thanks in advance for any help!
Mich

Mich,
I'm not Jill or Julie, but I just want to tell you that I think you're doing all the right things. Just keep it up!!! Your body will take a break from losing when it needs to, and you will hit a "plateau". At least, most of us do. At that time, it will balance itself out, and then you will probably start losing again. You are NOT overdoing anything! The only way you could hurt yourself, I think, is to go back to an unhealthy way of eating, and quit doing O!

Dear ILBSkinny,
Congratulations on your results!

Be sure to drink lots of water and eat plenty of healthy foods.

If you--or your doctor--are concerned that you are losing too fast, he may wish to check your blood chemistry just as a precaution.

Keep us posted on your continuing results!

Mich,
Wonderful! I personally think your doing fine. The big weight loss factor other than doing "O" is the junk (sugar, white flour, etc.) that your cutting out. If people would only realize once they get that poison out of their bodies yes, one does lose the weight fast. It's really a no brainer. I've heard so many stories about people dropping the weight after they decided to eat "cleaner"
Congrats on your losses. Keep it up. Big Grin

Until next time...
Susie
