could you tell me what oxycise is suppose to do,stretch the muscles or stength train them?My confusion is that I've read you are supposed to do it at least 6 days a week and I know with strength training you are only supposed to do it every other day to let the muscle repair itself,also I'm in my 50's so am conserned about bone lose--do I need to do more than oxycise?

Oxycise! is a workout that includes both stretching and some strength training. Because heavy weight lifting is not a part of Oxycise!, it is not necessary to take a break every other day. You may feel free to add ankle or wrist weights when doing the Oxycise! program.

Hi Sherrie,

I need to step in here and give you my two cents worth. I strongly believe you need to lift some weights everyother day (esp. if your serious about changing your shape) along with doing "O" each day. In the past I've just "O'ed" and it doesn't really give you the same results as lifting weights does. At least not with me. In fact I just started up again with "o" after turning 50 a couple weeks ago. Today I'm going to start lifting the weights again also.

I hope that helps you. Everybody feels different about what to do, but this is what works for me.
