Hi Kristine and Jill,
I have a question for you. I just had sinus surgery Tuesday last week and can not do any physically activity due to bleeding or bending over until I am released from the Doc which is Dec 11th. I am healing well and resting but on Monday is it possible to just do Oxycise standing up and laying down and breathing through my mouth due to not being able to put pressure on my nose at this point. Just having problems with digestion, surgery etc and really would like to keep up with the breathing too. Any thoughts or suggestions, I would appreciate it. Thank you and I will wait for your response. Have a blessed Sat. Fran |

Hi Fran,
I am so happy that you want to continue Oxycising! through your recovery. We have many reports from Oxycise! users who say that Oxycise! helped them to heal faster and feel better after surgery. Yes, it is absolutely fine to do just the standing and floor positions while you are recovering. It is also fine to inhale through the mouth instead of your nose. Keep in mind that you can modify any of the positions. Do not do any position that is uncomfortable or causing you pain. You might try gradually increasing the amount of reps you're doing each day. Don't push yourself - allow your body to gradually adjust to the increased activity. Below is the link to our success stories from others who found Oxycise! helped with their recovery from surgery: http://www.oxycise.com/Success...surgery_recovery.htm Best wishes! Kirstine Oxycise! Thank you so much for the quick reply too. I did think breathing through my mouth should not be a problem and may help with energy and the slow digestion too. I am also looking forward to receiving Levels 3 -5 too in the future. What do you recommend when you have all the Levels including Abs and Thighs/Buns DVD for a weekly routine. I was doing 15 min in the morning and 15 min in the evening. Alternating with Level 1 and Level 2.
Thank you again and have a great evening. Fran Brown |

Hi Fran,
I don't have a specific recommendation for a weekly routine. I think it really is a personal preference. I personally enjoy the variety of being able to rotate through the Oxycise! workouts but I don't have a set schedule as to which DVD I do on a specific day. For me, it just depends on the day! If I am in the mood for something more challenging I will go for Buns and Thighs or Abs and Upper Body. Or sometimes I will get "hooked" on one of the levels. The Level One has been my favorite lately and so that's the only level I have been doing for the last week or so! I think having the variety of the different levels is great! I think sometimes people will get bored doing the same workout day after day and so they quit even though they were seeing the benefits of Oxycise!. I hope you enjoy the advanced levels! That is a really great point Helene!
It is helpful to review the body positions demonstration to be sure that you are in the correct position and it also reminds you which areas you should be working in each position. I also agree that it's important to review the Introduction DVD or the breathing tips from time to time. I read through the breathing tips every now and again and it reminds me how important it is to breathe powerfully or to really flex those muscles instead of just going through the motions!
