Jill or Julie...

On Friday, June 15th, I'm going to order fitness equipment including DVDs. I want to try the Oxycise program, but I don't know which DVD will suit my needs.

Here's my profile:

I'm a 63.5" 54 year old female Boomer who was formerly an active Navy officer. A hit and run auto accident in 1998 left me with mild-moderate traumatic brain injury, fibromyalgia, chronic lower back pain, and knee injury. To look at me you'd think absolutely NOTHING was wrong or amiss, except I'm now weigh 210 lbs!!! (And, yes, looks are deceiving. The subtle cognitive challenges are a real kicker!)

My goal is to be a trim and toned 55 lbs lighter by my 55th birthday on February 8th.

Which DVD is best? I suspect the Easy Does It program will be your suggestion. If so, please tell me there are Boomers in it. I'm a visual learner, yet I don't think watching older seniors will keep me motivated.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Blessings,
Joyce

Hi Joyce,

Thank you for your interest in Oxycise!, we know you will love it!

It sounds like you would probably prefer the Standard Series, even though there are some younger people in the Easy Does It Series. If there are any positions that you are unable to do, you can always modify them or eliminate them and double up on another one. The most important thing is to make sure you are doing the breathing technique correctly and with a lot of gusto, so be sure to review the
Introduction to Basic Breath and Technique video or DVD before beginning the workout.

I hope this helps!

Kristine...

Thanks for your response. I was afraid this would happen. I ordered the EDI Friday morning.

Under the guarantee, can I return the EDI DVD if it doesn't suit me? I'm sure I'll want to keep the book and commuter CD.

Hi Joyce,

If you ordered Friday moring, your order most likely has not shipped yet so you may want to email info@oxycise.com to see if you can change your order if that is what you would like to do.

If you would like to try the Easy Does It Series, you can always return it for a refund if you find it is too slow or exchange just the DVD's for the Standard Series instead. Please email info@oxycise.com for information on how to exchange if necessary.

I wish you great success with whichever series you choose!
