Hi! I am new to oxycise. I too am working on getting the breath, pelvic tilt, sniffs and puffs. I get it right the most sited just doing the breaths. When I add positions then I tend to forget the correct breathing. I know this will come with practice. I was wondering how long will it take until I see some benefits? I'm not doing the food program right now I plan on adding it later. Sue Roll Eyes

Hi Suebee!

When I started I only did about 10 repetitions of the Basic Breath. It's a good thing I measured before I did this, because I noticed a difference.

I'm on my 3rd week of doing O! and have seen the difference in my measuring tape. The scale isn't working with me yet, it seems to be stuck. I figured that changing fat into muscle will make me slimmer without losing weight. I'm patient.

Yesterday after my shower I was rubbing bodylotion on my thighs and noticed that they were much smoother. I have not changed my shower habits.

You'll notice a difference, don't worry.

Welcome Sue! I think results come at different times as our bodies are all different. If you're watching what you eat, you'll see results quicker I think. I found it easier (could just be me!) to learn the basic breath while lying down. I had a hard time at first making my stomach go out when I took in a breath, but it was more natural for me when doing the lying down positions!

Good luck to you! Join us daily under "Daily support and accountability" and post your workouts if you'd like to!

Keep practicing the breathing. The more you practice the better you will get.

Remember to do relaxed, full inhales, then tighten your abdominal muscles (like you do when you cough)and keep them tight as you do the 3 sniffs, exhale and 3 puffs.

You can go ahead and try doing the breathing along with Jill on the video.... just lay down and breathe or repeat a few simple positions that you don't have to think about too much.

Good Luck to you!
Keep us posted!
