I have a 30-something friend who has spina bifida and walks with canes, but will probably be confined to a wheelchair in the next few years. I've thought about getting EDI videos for her but don't want her to have to look at a bunch of elderly people on a tape all the time. Are any of the people in the video younger? Are all of the exercises seated or can all of them be done in a seated position?

Hi Carol,
The majority of the participants on the "Easy Does It" workouts are older, but Jill does include some younger people too. I think Level 1 has "Shelley", a young pregnant woman. There is also a mini-window on the screen, that shows a younger woman doing the workout from a reclining position, for those who may be recovering from injuries or who are unable to do the other positions. Once the breathing technique is learned, the workout can be adapted to meet individual needs. Your friend might wish to order the workout, then return it if it does not meet her own needs or expectations. Just call 1-800-OXYCISE (699-2473) for additional questions about ordering, or to ask about the refund policy. Best Wishes, Julie Oxycise! Staff |
