Hi, I'm just wondering, in January of this year I was told by my doctor that I was showing the very early stages of COPD. I was out in my yard today doing some raking of pine cones and decided to come back in, and it is gorgeous out. I get out of breath easily. I quit smoking in Nov. 08. When I decided to quit I was breathing just fine. Was just tired of it and the cost and the smell. I have done Body Flex in the past and enjoyed it and am thinking about starting it again when I came across this site. Truthfully please, will Oxycising help with my breathing and the COPD? I also do Clog Dancing and get winded if we are doing a really fast song. I am 56 years young. Thank you, Cloggingrandma

Hi Clogginggrandma,
First welcome to the board and congratulations on quitting smoking last Novemeber. Since starting Oxycise my breathing is totally different than before. I used to get bronchitis at least twice a year. I had asthma, allergies, hay fever. I have found that now I can breathe deeply, almost year around. After about six months of doing O, my husband and I went hiking in the mountains. I did it!!! I did it without any problems, and it was wonderful!!! Before, I would have been looking for every place I could stop to catch my breath. I don't know if it will help with COPD, but I do believe that it will definitely help with your breathing.

I would start out with Level 1 and really watch the intro DVD to get the breathing right. From being on the board, I have heard about BodyFlex and I think that Oxycise is much easier on our bodies.
Welcome aboard and please feel free to join us on the D2L area.
Sharon

It sounds like the Oxycise! program would be great for you! We have not done any official research on asthma or emphysema, however we have received comments back from respiratory therapists who have indicated that the Oxycise! breathing methods are very healthy and beneficial for their patients. The reality is that Oxycise! helps to bring your body into balance and many customers have reported improvements with their overall health.
Please check out these Oxycise! success stories from those who have seen an improvement in breathing problems.

I am sure you would greatly benefit from Oxycise! however, we do recommend that you always consult with your physician with any concerns. Feel free to show your physician the video workout if you would like, and he can advise you of any precautions you may need to be aware of with your personal body.

I wish you great success with Oxycise! and would love to hear from you in the future to hear of the benefits you are finding with Oxycise!

Thank you,

Kirstine
