Hello Kristine or Jill,

First of all I am THRILLED that the oxycise newsletters are coming again. And SUPER THRILLED about the new DVDs that will be coming out soon (I have all 5 Dvds). In the last newsletter it was mentioned that breaths could be done while walking. Could one of you please offer a brief description? I'm so used to the "tucking", "pressing", "Streching", "squeezing", etc. What is the focus when doing "O in motion"? It it mainly the breath with the with the tightening of the tummy? Any description would be greatly appreciated.

I apologize for not getting to your question sooner.

Combining Oxycise! with walking is a great idea!

Everyone walks with a different stride, and at different speeds. So if you want to try doing the Oxycise! Basic Breath as you walk, you will just need to experiment with the breathing speed and rhythm. You can focus on squeezing the buns and of course lifting and tightening your abs.

One idea I have heard is from Oxycise! users who will listen to the Commuter Routine on their headphones while they are walking just to have Jill's voice guiding them through the breath. We have the Commuter Routine available in CD, Audiotape or mp3 format if that's something you are interested in.

We have had many customers write and say that they like to combine Oxycise! breathing with other activities, just for variety... such as walking, swimming, working with weights, etc.
